High floor, view was nice, location was convenient, lots of hot water for the shower. Front desk staff were nice and let us store our suitcases in the lobby until our flight at night. I like that I was able to earn marriott points for my stay.

That buffet breakfast was not available in our package price. Our room was not cleaned daily even though I asked for that online during booking.

Room more spacious that I expected for an urban location. Everything seemed reasonably new, in good order, and clean. Location was excellent, being a few minutes walk from two subway stations, and attractions like Central station and Time Square being a short journey away. Also, with a deli next door it was incredibly convenient to grab hot or cold food / salads etc and keep the cost of travel down.

one of our two rooms had a wet room instead of a traditional shower room. The whole of the wet room floor seems to flood when we showered, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location of the hotel is excellent. But I don't want to write ANYTHING GOOD MORE ABOUT THIS HOTEL for the reasons detailed in the negative section.

The service experienced from the hotel's side was EXTREMELY POOR. The reasons why I write this: - We missed our flight connection in Frankfurt. About the situation I informed the hotel via the Booking.com message page at ca. 4.15 p.m. NY time. I got an immediate automatic(?) response from the general manager of the hotel suggesting to contact the hotel via phone (fro Frankfurt...) or writing email to his deputy. I followed the latter instruction immediately. - Arriving at the hotel the next day, the receptionist gave us a room without a problem. When we entered the room, however, we realized that it's a small room with merely 2 double beds for 5 of us. When I complained at the recepcionist, he said that our ordered room had been given to another persons due to our absense. For my referring to my email, the lady (actually, the addressee of my mail) came and said that she didn't get any mail - or she is getting too many. Anyway, they gave us a bit larger room - still with 2 beds - and promised that from the next day we get a room of the ordered size and quality. It happened this way. Just to mention: one of us spent her first night in New York sleeping on pillows put on the floor. - There was no apology from the hotel's side, morover, the final sum paid was higher than that proposed at booking.

Property was ok. Some of the staff was nice. Some of the front desk staff was not.

Gym was nice but some of the equipment didn't work properly.

Room was cleaned everyday when we were there except for the last day which was a Sunday. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or they dont provide room service on Sundays. Subway stations were right outside the front door. Walgreens a walking distance and Hudson Food Market in the same building literally next door to the front entrance. But at the same time the surrounding did not look like it would be safe to walk at night. Most of the shops were auto maintenance or auto work mechanic shops.

Parking was $48 for 24 hours. When I called before booking the hotel, I was told that the parking is free. This was a disappointment. I did not mind paying for it as I understand that parking is a business in New York but I would have appreciated it if they were honest about it. Next to very busy highways and Ed Koch bridge which makes it a very noisy location. We were at 11th floor but still could hear the traffic. Staff not friendly at all. Breakfast was included but when my son went down within the specified timing, the station was empty and he was told that he can order from the menu which he has to pay. Rooms and bathrooms are smaller than usual rooms but I guess its New York so they shrink the size of the rooms and expand the prices regardless where you stay.

PERFECT location - 20 minutes away from central park. Few steps away from Queens Plaza (luggage friendly) & Queens Boro. Great staff - great attitude and smile any time of the day and super professional staff Great service - We were offered a room in a upper floor with a great view when they noticed it is our first time in NY (Thank you!). There was a time that our cards stopped working and it was fixed in a blink with no questions asked. Great Vibe - The entrance was much more ambiant than what we expected

Could be cleaner (there were some hair on the sheet from before, and there were some greece stains on the window from maintenance) It might be a bit too expensive for a 3 star hotel but I guess this is normal pricing for NYC.

Modern clean and spacious rooms, hotel is only 6 years old. 4 mins walk to tram which takes you to 5th Avenue or Times Square in about 15 minutes.

You need to train the staff. I felt discriminated just because I am hispanic. The front desk person was always on his cell phone.
