The staff was short-handed. Everyone was working very hard to help each other get their jobs done. For example, the front desk was busy cleaning up the room that breakfast was served in. The next time I saw him, he was busy folding clothes in the laundry room.

It was probably at one time charming. The rooms are very spacious though a little oddly designed.

We found a half eaten oreo and a map wedged behind the dresser. This place is super outdated and reminded us of a scary movie setting. The staff was packing a bowl and taking video of playing with a switch blade. The bed was the most uncomfortable we slept in on our 10 day roadtrip. You could feel every spring even when you just sit.

Nice big room

Only 3 pillows that were so thin they were almost useless. No luggage rack for suitcases. We booked a handicapped room and the bath chair was so large , heavy and bulky it was almost impossible to fit into the tub. A smaller one needs to be bought. If one was in a wheel chair and alone there is no way the chair could be used. Most handicapped rooms have a walk in shower.

Location was good. Central to most things. Coffee maker in room was great. Room was big.

The smell is awful. Smelled musty, old & cold. The elevator, hallways & room reeked like an ashtray. I'm an ex smoker, don't try & tell me that was a smoke-free room. Cig burns on stuff.. The room: The door only has a "dead bolt" lock, which unlocks when you turn the handle. There is no upper security lock, like to keep a curious 4 yr old in the room. Also, the windows opened completely. No screens, no security. An active 4 yr old can push the rolling chair over & want to hang out the window on the 2nd floor! Wth.... Dirty bathroom( hair, brown bits on toilet & wall), mirror with sticky gunk on it.. They do offer a continental breakfast. A couple types of cereal. Sad. I understand being short staffed, but this was beyond that. We definitely will not be going back.

Clean, comfortable.

You could here people running around upstairs, and when other hotel room doors would slam shut, the whole place would rattle. Not a deal breaker but kind of annoying. All in all, I'd probably stay here again.

The property is clean and well kept. Parking is easy. Nice breakfast area.

One of the rooms had two mirrors and the other had none. The large bathroom had no sink, no shelves, no cabinets, no outlets, no mirror - only 1 hook... very uncomfortable. But the big room had a long counter with a sink..... As a result, we had to wash in the room - very uncomfortable. There was no closet for clothes and shoes in either room, which is very inconvenient considering we wandered around the woods and beaches no mosquito net on the windows....
