Place was very clean. Gated property offered a nice sense of security. Kitchen was conveniently well stocked (including bottled water and eggs from the chickens). Wifi was reliable. Heated toilet with bidet functions was also nice. The premises was beautiful - enjoyed every morning going out with a cup of coffee to watch the hummingbirds visit the gardens, greet the cat and chickens, and relax on the tree swing. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Santa Rosa!

I found the pillows to be slightly uncomfortable (either too flat or too thick). There's a small window without curtains above the bed, which doesn't offer much sense of privacy.

The cottage was a pretty, efficient, compact place. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and easy access to town where we attended a big festival. The place was well stocked with kitchen items and had a washer/dryer.

Lisa's property is a gem, if anything the description and service don't give you the full picture of the amazing property. The setting is idyllic, set way back on a large lot, very very quiet. Owners meet you on arrival the explain everything--including dealing with the electronics and appliances--which often present an annoying challenge. The process of booking, confirmations, arrival instructions and follow up were the best we've ever experienced...and we do a lot of travelling. Kudos to the owners for above and they do everything with an amazing attitude. Can't wait to visit here again.

Can be a little challenging to find the entrance at night, follow your phone and it all works out.

Pretty

It is a nice location nestled away in the countryside near to wine country and the property is a beauty. The cottage has literally anything you need as it is fully furnished and clean. The bed is very comfortable and at night it is very quiet which is refreshing coming from a busy city.

Check in was unusual, and also I feel I was misled i.e "catfished" partly because the cottage is situated in front of a larger house. It is in no way by itself which is the impression that I got when I looked at the pictures. When we first arrived I used the code that was provided to me to access the gate and then from there I used my logic to make sense that the cottage was in front of the larger house. The host did not mention that the front door would be unlocked and the keys would be inside. My girlfriend and I were both a little lost but again using logic I allowed myself in and found the keys. Then the hosts husband came knocking on the door and he was not very friendly. I asked him about the Wi-Fi and he said there is no Wi-Fi and asked me didn't the booking provide that information. No it does not. In fact, the host seems to disguise that there is no Wi-Fi and that there is not much privacy either.

The location of the property was good and it was easy to find. The garden setting is very nice.

The blinds on the biggest window were broken and could not be opened. This was unfortunate as that window provided the nicest view. It also made the cottage feel very closed in. We told the owner and they said, "We know - everyone tells us that. We don't have time to fix it because it is always rented." The bed is VERY hard and made for very uncomfortable sleep. We would not stay here again.
