Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast and great area.

Everything is done well here--comfy room with good privacy, nice breakfast, thoughtful advice about local restaurants and activities. The location on the river bank is quite special.

A couple of amenities in the bathroom had run out.

Beautiful French-country atmosphere by the River. Comfortable and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. Host (Tom) was gracious and helpful.

It’s somewhat isolated - but perfect if you want to get away from it all! If you’re older (like us), be aware that the room is upstairs in addition to several steps up to the house.

The Inn was beautifully decorated and very homey. Tom and Christine were great hosts! The French breakfasts were delicious.

About breakfast. Christina, the host, is French. Need I say more? The breakfasts were superb. We ate on the back porch overlooking the New River. The experience could not have been better.

Christine and Tom, they sincerely cared for guest. Breakfast was wonderful and of course the back yard was perfect place for us to relax. I had wonderful time there.

The breakfast was very good. The room was very cozy. Location was very good. The parking was safe. The room was very clean.

I have to go bathroom detached to the room. The entrance road to my room wasn't paved.

Very gracious Host/Hostess. Made me feel right at home all 4 days. Breakfast was exceptional; I didn't have to eat again for 7 hours or so after hiking. Was secluded, quiet & private. Just what I wanted for my 65th birthday.

That we didn't maybe have another day or two there. SERIOUSLY, there was nothing that displeased us.

The breakfast was very healthy and presented very nicely: granola with yogurt and topped with various fruits, O.J, coffee or tea, croissants with homeade jelly , scrambled eggs/bacon. We stayed in the 'Budget 'cottage which was a one room cabin at the back of the main house. The property backs up to the New River and is very picturesque.

We had to go in the back door of the main house and go up one flight of stairs for the bathroom. The 'Budget' cottage was basically a bedroom, with desk, TV and small fridge. The other guest room in the main house was on the third floor, so it still involved stairs , no matter which room you chose. The third floor room had a private bath, but it required coming down stairs for breakfast. Breakfast was brought to you in the '"Budget cottage' and you could eat in the room or on the porch at the back of the main house.

What a beautiful location on the river. The hosts were lovely and the food outstanding!! Christine is from France and we were transported back to France with her savory French pastries and breakfast. The décor inside also had much French influence. If you have time have Tom drop you off for a beautiful Kayak ride down the river.

Love the quiet peaceful area next to the river.

Breakfast and coffee were great. It was so beautiful watching the river flow while eating breakfast.
