Too much noise outside my room

even though my room faced the busy street and was near the hospital, my room was delightfully quiet all night long, We awoke to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast check out was a breeze, staff is so friendly and helpful, this is our favorite home away from home!

I am tall, the commodes were terribly low to the floor, felt like child size to us.

The hotel delivered what it should deliver for a mid-level property: friendly efficient front desk service, a clean comfortable (in this case, spacious) room with plenty of hot water, a very good breakfast (lots of variety), and easy access with plentiful parking.

The general noise level. You could hear every normal conversation in the hallway, every footstep in the room above and every toilet flush traveling down the wall through the pipes (next to the bed of course). It's beyond the staff's control; it's a fundamental initial engineering/design issue for a relatively newer building. It has poor to non-existent sound proofing. It wasn't the place to save on construction costs for a hotel. It's not a deal breaker but it is a minimum of a two star rating reduction.

Amazing selection and taste.

Breakfast offerings were generous and the staff was extremely friendly, especially Carol who helped us at breakfast. She was so kind to everyone and chatted with us all.
