Amazing location. Pretty clean and roomy room.
4.5
Located very close to Beech Mountain ski resort for easy commute to the slopes. Bullwinkels is a fun casual pizza place within the hotel.
Hotel is older and looks it. Not that we minded, but don't expect new and fancy facilities.

Great location, next to the sledding hill and ski location, has a restaurant and cafe(Saturday and Sunday and holidays only), clean and cosy room. Courteous staff and owner , microwave and fridge in room convenient for reheating food , owner cleared snow himself when we were snowed in
Came in late and was immediately allotted forrestview room, wish was given an option for hill view room, slow internet, wish had an option for breakfast on weekdays without leaving the building, coffee maker was not clean so couldn’t make coffee on off days, microwave had a bung up and shone light out when working, hopefully that is not harmful radiation

We ate at the cafe for breakfast, and it was quite nice.

Breakfast was great however the only server who works there was so not friendly. Rest of the staff were super helpful and nice.

Location in closeness to ski lodge. Conveniently had 2 restaurants on site, and beautiful view from balcony of ski slopes.
Nothing!

There was a restaurant in the hotel. The room had a fridge and microwave. The staff also live in the hotel, so when the water was out , they delivered pitchers of water to drink to our rooms before we knew there was a problem. We arrived after an ice storm so many stores/ restaurants had not received supplies. Since the restaurant on site was one of the few open it was busy, but since we were a guest of the hotel, they gave us the option of “take out” and we didn’t have to wait. It was a perfect location between town and the mountain, it was easy to ski for a while the drive back to hotel for rest and a meal. Being close to town it was a short drive to the sledding hill and other activities in town.
It was dated but functional, at the time it was also under renovation so things didn’t always work- like the water.

Very quiet. Beautiful yard. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Ample parking.
Restaurant did not serve breakfast or lunch. Lodge was quaint, but not remodeled since the 80s. Bed was very firm. Pillows very flat. Pricing seemed high for off season.

Always a great getaway with wonderful, friendly staff. They go above and beyond to please.
Many thanks!!!
Shower water temperature was temperamental.

Our stay was super! Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. One night we enjoyed an early evening picnic on the grounds in the company of several deer and fawns. We followed that with drinks at the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were very good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Steve, chief cook and bottle washer, was a wonderful host and made our visit that much better.
When we arrived it was hard to miss that the landscaping around the building needed a lot of attention. While the entire place was clean top to bottom, certain aspects were somewhat dated.

Room was clean and met expectations. Staff were great. The menu served in the restaurant was excellent. The view was fantastic.
Building was dated and could use a remodel, the inn is stuck in the 1970's. This did add to the charm of the place, but really needs to be considered. The inn could really use a hot tub.

The location was good with a good view of the ski slopes and the mountain. The room was clean. The bed was fairly comfortable.
The first night the Wi-Fi didn’t work. There were no electrical outlets in the room. Only one in the bathroom. The carpet was stained. The building was really old and in bad shape. The checkin desk closes early and there is no one there after 10:00pm. The doors to the rooms are hard to open. There was no free breakfast provided as the website said.

The hotel was great. The manager was so very kind and helpful!

Great spacious rooms with a spectacular view

Location was great. Steve was very attentive to our needs. Large comfortable room with gas fireplace. This is our third stay here and won't be the last. Although we didn't use the restaurant this year, if past years are anything to go by it's good fine dining.
Although the room was comfortable it is fairly outdated. No cooked breakfast that is a big minus for us along with nothing in place regarding hot drinks etc after a long day on the slopes. Plenty of scope to make improvements making it more like a ski Lodge. With all that said we've just finished our third stay and will be back next year.

Location to beech mountain skiing.
Rooms could use a little update. Little interaction with employees. Couldn't find an employee at one point in the trip.
4.5
Beautiful mountain view with deer grazing outside the window. Very friendly and professional staff. Relaxing and homey feel.
The heater was going on and off all night keeping us awake.
4.5
There was no breakfast served. We did eat dinner on 2 separate nights in the restaurant and the food was very good. Because of lack of employees, the service took a bit longer, but we realize that is happening everywhere.
We liked the view from our window, the spaciousness of the room. The small fridge and the microwave were handy to have, and the room was quiet.
The bed was a bit overly soft from my perspective. I also found the “short” toilet difficult to use. Handicapped bathroom would have been better for me, but since I don’t use a wheelchair, and most places don’t have such low toilets, I didn’t consider that.
The nice chairs in the room could use a deep cleaning. I sprayed one with Febreze since it smelled like sweat/urine. I’m sure if I had mentioned these things to the staff, they would have taken care of it. There’s not a lot of staff, currently, and I just didn’t want to add to their very busy schedules.
The inn is old, and does show its age. There is a quaintness about the interior and exterior that would be sad to remove, but it could definitely use some updates and repairs.

This is the second time staying at Beech Alpine Inn. I love this motel! Its old but cozy, comfortable and clean! The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are big and the views of the mountains are beautiful. Deer are all around feeding as you look from your room or while your enjoying dinner! The hotel is very close to all the attractions and the owner is well informed about ANYTHING local. Its one of my favorite places to stay and highly recommend giving Beech Alpine Inn a try.
The only negative is the outside of the hotel. Its needs some TLC but nothing some boards, paint and a little landscaping cant fix. The inside is dated but very very clean.

Breakfast was at Freddie's and it was great. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was spectacular both Saturday and Sunday evenings. Music on the Lawn on Sunday was awesome.
Can't think of anything to make it better.

What we liked the most were the deer that gathered at 4pm for their evening corn. If they got there early, they had to wait. They scattered across the mountain, so I couldn't get many into a shot. The hotel is close to the various restaurants, etc. An easy walk.
No complaints. We didn't eat there but they had meals for lunch and dinner. Some dinners must be special as there were large crowds for them.
