There was little to no cell service and the WiFi connection was not strong enough in our room to do anything. TV remote buttons were sticky and was unable to change the channels or get the chrome cast to connect because of the WiFi. The shower was tough to get to a comfortable temperature - either scalding or cold.

property was right in the heart of Sausalito and was lovely.

we had a faulty toilet so when it was flushed the noise of running water kept going. No air conditioning (which was mentioned before I booked) so fans were allocated but think it could get very hot in summer.

The room was gorgeous!!! this property could really benefit from a professional photographer. the photos on the website just don’t do it justice. Our room was huge, and the clawfoot tub really made it special. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever stayed in. They also provide you with a full size hair dryer, which I know sounds like a minuscule amenity, but it really was nice. I looked at rooms by the water from other hotels, but for the money I thought our pick was far more worth it. It was incredibly quiet the whole time. Despite there being a car in every parking spot, we never saw another guest the whole time. The view was fabulous, you could see the bridge from our window. Did I mention we had five beautiful windows with Roman shades? Honestly, what wasn’t to like?

Staff called to check what time we were arriving. We guessed, but we were a little later than expected. I just thought it a little weird to give a specific time as we are on vacation, so you never know where the day will bring you. Besides that call the stay was great, room was beautiful!!!

The location was great. The room was spacious and charming. The shower had great water pressure -hard to find since California is always on water conservation measures.

The room had no central heating. It was particularly cold on arrival and I was not informed of that by the receptionist or upon reservation. There were small portable heaters in the closet.

They discontinued breakfast so you had to go find a place to eat in the morning. They also discontinued wine and cheese in late afternoon. Claw foot tubs are out if not dangerous as no place to hold onto for showering in the slope! The bathroom in our room needed remodeling. The infrastructure of hotel needs updating as windows leak and they still have single pane. TV in our room located in such a manner that you could only watch it if on the bed. Should be positioned to watch from the sofa. The guys wanted to watch football. My husband has a disabled placard and the space was located next the building. However, upon returning from dinner one evening another vehicle without a placard was located in the space. Notifying the call number, we were advised the person probably forgot to put up their placard and no offer to contact them was made even though license plate numbers were recorded for the rooms. Later, the person belonging to the vehicle illegally parked came to lobby where we were playing cards. The person confirmed no placard and said that the man at the desk told her to park there. Very inappropriate and I believe it was the same person I spoke to on the phone.

The front desk staff was very nice to let me early check in and keeping luggage after check out. The scenery was very beautiful and the environment was relatively quiet according to its center location of Sausalito. The traffic was convenient.

The hotel did not offer a hair dryer which was a little bit horrible in winter time.

The mattress was saggy, and should probably be replaced.
