Chedi is a phenomenal property. The multiple pools and spaces made us feel that we could have privacy and private space. It has to be the best hotel gym I have ever seen. Phenomenal. Food is brilliant, and not overly priced. The quality of staff was absolutely standout. Great room - very comfortable.

Nothing really. Rained on one of the days!! Mini bar and tea and coffee were not updated daily, but were provided promptly on request.

The style and design of the hotel was incredible, and the attention to detail of the whole hotel was faultless. In particular the staff were all amazing, from the concierge to the restaurant staff to the room service, always smiling, always helpful and nothing was too much bother and no request was too much to be accommodated

The wifi away from the hotel towards the beach or the swimming pool fell away very quickly to be at times ususeable

No faults, everything excellent. All staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and efficient. The beach and sea swimming a real bonus. The gardens and main building were immaculate and atmospheric.

It would be unnecessary and churlish to find fault.

The Chedi elevates your vacation to a whole new level. The ambiance of the hotel, the fantastic tall ceiling rooms, the amazing amenities and facilities available along with some fantastic staff carve a memorable and exciting stay. A must stay when in Muscat. Definitely coming back again.

If you're looking for a very aesthetic hotel where the staff absolutely goes above and beyond for you, this is the place. Everyone was always so friendly and we had the best time ever.

the finishing isn’t very lux, doors to terrace don’t open and close properly, the room I stayed in had a very strange lay out with open bathroom and again poor finishing. The AC also doesn’t cool, I think because the finishing is poor there’s a lot of air escaping and it become humid in the rooms.

- The resort is a bit old, 2003, you can see that in the buildings, rooms, elevators… but generally speaking it’s well maintained - The towels in the pool have yellow stains, not sure if it’s clean or what! but it doesn’t look good for such a luxurious resort. - The AC is too cold, and couldn’t keep it on a reasonable temperature

room was small, old and not well furnished - not worth the price at all. Food was mediocre and alcohol quality and price was extortionate. It is not permitted to smoke inside the seafood restaurant, however, a group of 4 were - they would not ask them to stop, instead we had to move tables. This was not acceptable and to be honest ruined the stay - we felt like second class citizens who were not cared about. won’t be going back or recommending.

The hotel is simply amazing. Every alley, pool is magnificent really which I’d stayed longer there

pure luxury with design in every detail

I understand that luxury places need to be in contant state of readiness. however, I believe even 5 star hotels will need to adapt to the new demands concerning sustainability, in low season wellness facilities could be heated upon demand instead of unnecessarily wasting energy? same goes for the plastic bottles. the tab water at the pool was a big plus though

A wonderfully composed complex. There are three swimming pools with different concepts in the complex. Everything is "at hand". The cuisine is delicious.

the staff were friendly, but we definitely felt that being younger we were given sub par service, questioned whether we were actually staying at the hotel and second rate service

Amazing location and caring staff

At first they told me The hotel was full and didn’t wanted to give me a room. Certainly because I was a young woman on my own. Hopefully I could book with your website. I don’t like to be judged on my look when I pay for a palace.

The Chedi is a true 5 star hotel. Everything is perfect and detailed. When you enter the hotel, relaxation and calmness immediately start and the friendly and competent staff is taking care of everything. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you very much to Judy from the Spa. She is a friendly and experienced therapist, and we can highly recommend massage and facial treatments with her. A big thank you also to Essam from the reception for his exceptional friendliness and hospitality and his tips for special spots in the city of Muscat.
