Our flight got in late, but the lovely host stayed up to let us in even though he had to get up early for work the following morning. The beds were comfortable, the whole place was spotless and smelled amazing. So close to the airport and such good value for a one night stay! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Nothing, it was perfect for what we needed!

Stuff was very cool and friendly.

We booked this place for its price and somewhat close location to the Mnajdra temple and airport. One of our objectives was to visit the temple during the equinox sunrise. The place was clean and the owner was very nice.

It was a bit too cold, especially for my wife, we had to use the AC to warm up the place. Some of the amenities such as the hairdryer did not work and my wife only discovered that after washing her hair and had to wait in the cold to dry up. The room had no window aside one leading to an internal patio with little view. Going to/from the shared bathroom was a bit backward but we were alone in the house :).

No bathroom in the room, moderately clean, had to wait hour for hot water at evening.

Location is close to the airport and blue grotto. The host was really welcoming, always in touch and ready to help.

There were fireworks all over the island on the night we arrived. So it was a challenge to sleep. Of course, it is not the owner’s fault.

Everything was great. The place is very nice and close to the airport. There is Wi-Fi, TV and Netflix also. I recommend it 👌

Location was great, close to the airport as I had an early morning flight out the next day. Host was welcoming and flexible with the checkout time, room was comfortable and clean, good value for money.

No problems with the accommodation, room is in a house so you can hear other movements sometimes but nothing that was really disturbing, and the area is in a quiet part of town.

Perfect place for this price. Close to airport (9 euro via popular app), direct city busses to Valetta (71, 73). Owner was very kind and helpful, allowed late check in and left luggage till EOD after checkout. We were happy to stay here. Malta itself surprised us in positive way.

No disadvantages for this price.

The accomodation was beautiful. Clean, comfortable, had everything you needed and the host was exceptionally helpful (even dropped us to the airport the next morning). I would highly recommend staying here.

The host Mark was amazingly helpful, Gave us advice what to see and where else to go. The room was nice We had a separate well equipped bathroom It was clean Close to the airport and not far from Valetta / sliema We could park our vehicle close to the house There is a Lidl and bus stop near.

It is on the lower part of the island, Journey to the north takes time.

The host is a gentleman. Very welcoming, accommodating and want to be sure you enjoyed your visit to his island. I would choose this location every time.

Having to leave

nice, helpful host, easy check-in any time, good location especially if someone has late flight, close to the airport and Blue Grotto

We were exited from Mark’s hospitality! Thanks a lot for great stay! Apartment was very clean, bed is crazy comfortable, a lot of space for everything in a room! There was shared bathroom and kitchen, everything was in disposal, as well clean and all nessesary things are there. We were very thankful for Mark’s advices-all were really good (what to see and where to eat) Highly recommend this accommodation in this area.

Nothing

Very poor hotel, bathroom doors was broken, toilet out of servis (no water flush). For breakfast find note on reriferators door-use milk, warter, jam, but dont eat my food. Was so dirty, so we cant eat anything. If you can, dont stay here.

The cleanliness

We arrived late midnight couldn’t talk loud or do anything as we were told to be quite. The shower hot water didn’t work.

Everything was just perfect, the owner is so kind. Apartment was huge, clean and beautiful. There is AirPort just 3 km from Desert Rose, Lidl even closer and bus stop so it’s perfect location. We definitely recommend Desert Rose!

Good amenities.

Location too far from beach etc and shops.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood, close to the airport, bus stop and shop. If you mainly only need accomodation where you can sleep in peace, it's perfect. Well equipped, very clean apartment with air conditioning. Mark is a great and helpful host, we could reach him anytime we had a question.

The main attractions are a bit far away, so it's more of journey.
