Outstanding kitchen, bravo to the Chef and his kitchen and restaurant service team. Every dinner was full of surprises for the taste buds. Plenty but not too much - in short excellent. Location of the hotel was out-of-this-world, at true hideaway. Our room was perfect with the most wonderful view. It's worth to book the room with panorama view and balcony. Staff was great and helpful. Outstanding spa - not too big yet never too full - with excellent treatments. overall excellent value for money.
"Private" parking at the bottom of the mountain did not really work out. Had expected a closed parking with a barrier and maybe a code or so. If you have too much luggage, better to ask for pick up, but with the little gondola it works and is fun. It was not 100% clear to us what is and is-not included in the price, but this may have been us not re-reading the details. So, no big issues, overall outstanding and highly recommended.

half board menu in the evening was very restrictive. evening meal finished at 8pm. Nothing to do after the evening meal other than go back to the room.

The hotel's location is unique. It is up the mountain and arrival is by cable car. The views are amazing. A network of hiking trails runs past the hotel - bring your hiking boots!
The facilities are fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The spa is just great - there are multiple saunas and pools. The outdoor swimming and relaxing pools are delicious. The fitness center is good.
The service is attentive without being overbearing. The front desk helped with all manner of local directions and recommendations.
Meals in the hotel restaurant are superb; every dinner was elegant, interesting and tasty. Breakfasts were wonderful. A variety of breads, cheeses, meats, yogurts, eggs, cereals, fruit are available on a buffet. The kitchen would also gladly serve freshly made breakfast dishes.
We had to go home!

our only feedback is that we were unable to secure even one treatment over our 4 day stay. it would have been good to have been prompted in advance if more than 8 days notice were required to secure a treatment: after all most customers booking a spa retreat are likely to want to have a massage or facial.

Me and my wife booked for two nights and we wished we had booked for more! Truly exceptional place.
The facilities are top notch, you can swim in the infinity pool with mountains covered in snow just in front of you, the 270° lounge was truly relaxing to have a chat or read a book. The spa was incredible with a sauna, a heated pool and floating chairs in a mountain lounge all overlooking the incredible views. Breakfast and dinner were both absolutely delicious, with versatile options. The rooms are spacious, very modern with alpine style. Around the place you can hike with nice hiking trails, we hiked to the eukbaur where there's a nice restaurant. Definitely would go back there, it's in our top 10 unique hotels around the world.
Not that it's an issue, but it would've been nice to get a heads-up, that the spa was nude friendly 🫣

For the price of the stay the breakfast could be a tiny bit better! It’s not that it missed anything…it just wasn’t anything special! I’ve had better in less expensive hotels! But we loved the hotel anyways and would definitely go again!

Das Graseck is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, (but still able to easily access Garmisch) to enjoy nature and the lovely scenery, especially from the infinity pool. All staff were helpful and friendly and both breakfast and dinner were lovely. Will definitely put it on my list for another visit!
I regretted only staying one night.

The service was impeccable, everyone we were in contact with was courteous, friendly and attentive. The facilities were awesome, especially the spacious spa area with complimentary drinks and fruit. Wish we could've stayed longer.

This is officially my favorite hotel ever. From beginning to end evening about my stay was perfect. Despite the fact I only staying one night, I felt like was treated like the most important guest.
They were so helpful and accommodating, I arrived before checkin so they gave me a pass go to hike through the partnach gorge and after checking out, they stored my suitcase and gave me a locker in the spa so I could hike and then enjoy the spa the rest of the day!
The resort itself is in an incredible location. You’re right on the trails for exploring and there are incredible views in every direction. The resort was so thoughtfully designed, you get to enjoy the views wherever you are. I would go back to Germany, JUST to visit Das Graseck again.

During a previous trip to Garmisch, we hiked up to Das Grasek and ate lunch there. We enjoyed it so much that I told myself next time we were in Garmisch, we were staying there. Three years later, we did! And we will stay there next time also. We upgraded to the top floor suite through the hotel directly and it was amazing. The setting of the hotel is simply stunning. The food was delicious. The spa services were all great. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful and accommodating. The bed in our suite was the most comfortable of any place we stayed during our entire trip in Germany and Italy. I could go on and on. We loved it.

Beautiful location in the mountains, with Alpine sceneries on every direction. Comfortable and modern rooms with a terrace to enjoy summer evenings. Delicious cuisine both at breakfast and dinner, and very polite and helpful personnel. Would love to come back!
Toilet in the room could be more discrete.

Nothing, but just be aware that you can’t access this property by car, you have to take a cable car ;) soo worth it
