2食付きで夜はしゃぶしゃぶ(セルフですが)アルコールが飲み放題だったところは良かったです。窓の外は目の前が川だったので景色も良かった。川の流れる音が癒されました。温泉も30分の貸し切りがありチェックインの際に予約できます。温泉の湯もとてもよいです。サラッとしていますが肌すべすべいつまでも体もぽかぽかしていました。

施設が古いのでトイレからの臭いがちょっと残念だった。

I first visited the property back in 2018, as a sort of first dive into Japanese hotels. At the time, I was simply enamored with anything different and gave the hotel glowing reviews. I am pleased, then, that I am able to give this hotel a review again. I’ve traveled a lot in my time since my first visit, and know a bit more about what to look for. Even in the midst of, well, 2020, this hotel continues to go above and beyond. The staff are courteous and friendly, willing to help as best as they can. The buffet continues to delight, now with added safety measures to ensure that diners can walk away safely. The room was nice and ready for me, the futon already laid out. Considering this was my last vacation, and probably the last time I’ll travel, given the current climate of things, I’m happy that I chose this hotel and Iizaka Onsen as a final trip.

The food was fantastic! I enjoyed trying the different types of Japanese dishes. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. I highly enjoyed the onsen too. The staff were helpful and clarified what we needed to know even though I speak no Japanese.
