The hotel is beautiful and the spa services were awesone. I loved that everyone was walking around in robes, the required attire for the hotel. Loved that they had champagne and chocolates in the lobby for everyone!

The hotel was hard to find even with google maps

Very nice hotel with thermal water. The staff is nice and kind.

The prices for the restaurant in the hotel (which is the only option in the area) are outrageous. The water pressure at the shower was very weak.

Nothing was overpriced and the place stank like sewage

The smell was like being in trapped in the toilet after your father had just been in there. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough.

I am disappointed in the reception staff. I visited with my family who are Italians, but the staff chose to speak in Italian to my husband, ignoring my presence even though the booking was made under my name. I believe as a 5 star hotel the staff should be well equipped to welcome foreign visitors. At the very least, be able to code switch. In another incident, the staff at the bar could have paid more attention to the orders of their customers.

I liked the hotels proximity to the Saturnia cascading thermal baths & beautiful near by towns. With more time I would have liked to try a treatment in the spa and a little bit of golf.

The smell is horrendous, my kids call it the stinky place and couldn’t wait to leave. I do understand that is the smell that comes with such amazing natural springs but it really is strong indoors as well.

I loved the natural hot spring, it was divine! I truly felt detoxed

the spa services ‘the club’ and the ‘Roman bath’ areas including the various shower facilities in the property felt quite old and run down. I also asked to use the iron and reception said they will do it for me, and sent someone to take my clothes away to iron instead. No mention of cost and when I came to check out, I was slapped with an additional $60 euro bill to iron 3 items! I don’t mind paying money for services but I was very unhappy that I was not told upfront that I was using their laundry service and that there would be a cost and how much it would be per item. After discussing with the manager they gave me $20 euro discount. My stay would have been perfect if it wasn’t for this incident.
