Everything was perfect

Great property, all amenities as described. Location at the top of a steep hill is the only downside. Pool area and garden great for relaxing and selection of satellite Tv channels almost as good as home (sport and movies, uk channels). Would recommend as long as fit enough to manage the hill.

An intruder came into our apartment and items stolen

Fabulous accommodation , best we have stayed in snd have been to Carvoeiro lots of times.

The property is amazing - it is clean, spacious, conveniently located and has everything that family needs to stay with children for a week or more. Walking distance to beach, lots of places to eat nearby, there are good hiking trails around. We would definitely book it again if we travel to this area in the future.

The property is modern, comfortable and close to shops and restaurants. The pool was cold (in March) but didn’t stop the children using it. Communication with property manager very good. Only had one query which was quickly sorted.

Everything was perfect about this villa. Location, pool, well equipped kitchen etc. We had such a nice holiday!

Colina Verde has an amazing location. The picture on the website is not from the flat though. That corner varanda is the neighbour's. A bit misleading. I would have chosen a different picture. No matter how much you twist your neck from the varandas, you can't see the sea. However stepping out of the front door, that view is amazing ! Great place to visit, nice and clean refreshing pool available. Liaising with the hosts very good too. Thank you guys, we enjoyed the short stay !

Had rented previously so delighted to see it was available for the period we had planned to go on holiday. Once we requested our dates it was confirmed very quickly and deposit secured our stay. Fairly straightforward.

Superschönes Haus, geräumig, sauber, ausgestattet mit allem was es braucht. Pool ebenfalls klasse. Kurzer Weg ins Zentrum und zum Strand. Ruhige Lage. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Algarve zu erkunden.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Fast ein wenig groß für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern. 😃

The apartment was very well provided and served as an excellent base for our holiday in the Algarve. The pool area was perfect for our family with the baby pool complementing a very good sized main pool. Responsiveness of the local managers (for arriving, questions ahead of time, local recommendations, etc) was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this property (and the area in general) to anyone who was thinking about the Algarve, especially with family.

Second time staying at Paul and Vals apartment. Great location, comfortable clean and quiet. Hope to get back next year

Cette location est parfaite. Très bien localisée. L'appartement est très grand, propre et super bien équipé jusqu' au parasol, à la glacière, raquettes ...Emma et Mike sont très gentils , serviables et disponibles. Belle vue de la terrasse, 10 minutes de la plage. Piscine super calem et propre. Places de parking. à conseiller fortement

Enjoyed our second stay at Casa Jolie so much that we decided to stay an extra week! Very well equipped and spotlessly clean, close to the centre of Carvoeiro. Managed by Mike and Emma who are always on hand and are very helpful.

lovely property. easy check in process from Mike and Emma who even took us to supermarket for esssentials. lovely pool and in a great position over looking the sea. easy access to bars and restaurants. would definately stay here again.

We loved our stay. House was very comfortable, but being February - very cold even though it was 20 degrees outside! Mike was very helpful - we had a power cut one night and he arrived quickly to sort it out. Location was great - walking distance to town and two tennis courts very close by. Kitchen was well equipped but the only very small niggle was that it would have been nice to have a few dishwasher tabs and bin bags left for us.

the apartment is fully equipped (various "beach utensils" are also available) and was very clean at handover. The communication with the rental companies was unproblematic. The location of the accommodation is very good, small supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants are within walking distance. Further it is very quiet there. Especially worth mentioning is the great, large and clean community pool, which is only a few steps away. In the late afternoon we almost always had the pool to ourselves. We would go on holiday there at any time.

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely spacious property. The property managers were really helpful during our stay. The pool area was clean and quite often quiet during our stay. Plenty of sunloungers. Would stay here again and would certainly recommend the property.

As a family of 4 we have stayed in numerous great apartments in Carvoeiro over the last number of years and can honestly say this has been by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It has everything a family could ever need for a great holiday. The attention to detail is second to none. Mike and Emma met us on arrival and were so easy to deal with. They offered great information on the resort and apartment and were available if we needed anything. We had a fantastic stay in Colina Verde and would highly recommend.

Just returned from a great week in Colina Verde. The apartment is very spacious with two large en-suite bedrooms upstairs and a further shower room downstairs with large kitchen and lounge/dining room. There is a patio and garden, complete with BBQ where we ate breakfast and lunch every day. The apartment is very well appointed and I cannot think of anything else that would be needed for a family holiday. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The pool area is great with plenty of loungers available throughout the day. We stayed in the middle of August and never failed to get a spot around the pool, even when arriving during the afternoon. The resort is really great and is well suited to keeping the whole family entertained. The apartment is no more than five minutes walk downhill to the lovely resort centre and beach where we ate each evening. We hired a car and there is plenty of parking around the apartment building. The surrounding areas are also well worth a visit although we didn't venture too far due to the hot weather. The whole booking process was very straightforward - great communication from Val and Paul. We were met on arrival at the apartment by Mike who showed us around was available throughout our stay to answer any questions we had. Great apartment, would love to return!

Perfect house, so modern clean and stylish. Met the charming owners. Much more than we expected. Huge pool and short walk to beach and restaurants. Can't wait to stay again.

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely stay at your gorgeous villa. It really was home from home, fantastic having 3 bathrooms and the wi fi worked a treat, so my sons and husband were all happy! We couldn't have asked for anything more and Mike and Emma were really helpful. Karen Campbell

This is a lovely duplex apartment, fitted out with everything you could possibly need for a 'home away from home' It is large, set out over two floors with the front door opening onto the bedroom level, both of which are spacious with lots of wardrobe space and hangers. Both were ensuite Downstairs is a brilliant Kitchen, another loo and shower and the main living area. Plenty of room to move around and the kitchen is really well stocked. The resort itself is lovely although beware, there are many, many hills. Not one for anyone with walking difficulties methinks. All the bars and restaurants were lovely. My fav was OSalmao, where I had duck in drambuie. Yum Yum I cant recommend this apartment highly enough. thank you Val

We've just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at Colina Verde, Carvoeiro. Thank you to Val and and Paul for use of their wonderful home. And thank you to Emma and Mike who met us on arrival. The accommodation is superb, fully kitted out with everything needed, and more. On arrival the house was spotless and was cleaned mid stay. The location couldn't be better with just a short walk into the village and it's many restaurants and pubs. We visited some amazing cove beaches this year which are just a short drive away. We love Carvoeiro and hope to return next year. We highly recommend this property. Graham Smith and family.

Hi Val & Paul Many thanks for letting us use your wonderful townhouse apartment - it was truly a home from home experience. We felt relaxed and in 'holiday mode' as soon as we walked through the door! We all loved it, especially our 4 year old daughter who had the freedom to run around the safe and flat garden. May was the perfect time to go, sun was shining and Carveriro wasn't too busy. Best restaurant we found was Wolf (steak) - amazing food and ended up going twice. Hi Val Just wanted to send a quick email to say we had a fantastic holiday and absolutely loved the apartment, it was a real home from home, 10 days was just too short! Everything went very smoothly and apart from locking ourselves out one day no problems at all! Michelle was great and responded straight away when we had a query. Ele and Ela was our favourite place to eat and the bakery recommendation spot on! We fell in love with Portugal and will be back! Thank you for everything Regards Lynne and Ian Thornton
