Giardini Mon Plaisir was a wonderful place to stay. Host Agostino was excellent and most helpful. Agostino assisted and made dinner reservations, provided recommendations, and provided directions to local sites. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The pool and surrounding garden were beautiful and relaxing. The staff were all excellent and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful, I will stay here again upon a return trip.

it is a garden oasis in the Middle of a Urban Area of Trapani. We have never experienced such a high class bnb for this kind of value. our little daughter loved it! especially the garden was awesome

The building and grounds are an oasis. The public rooms are comfortable and the outdoor space by the pool is enjoyable. Breakfasts were great and Alessandro couldn’t have been more accommodating to our food requests. The tram to Erice is walkable from the property. The free, secure parking is also a plus.

The property is pretty far from the old town of Trapani. It’s a long walk there and back, and driving/parking in old Trapani is challenging. The room was rather spartan. It felt a little like a college dorm room. The property is surrounded by tall apartment buildings.

For the discerning traveller who truly appreciates the good things in life, their finer details and values genuine kindness and generous hospitality ….. I knew from the very first virtual contact with Agostino that we had connected with a hard working and dedicated host. It was obvious from the outset how important it was to him that our experience of Trapani and our stay at the Villa Giardini Mon Plaisir was as fulfilling and positive as it could be in the short time we had. And that was an accurate foretaste! A vital aspect to us was that we could park onsite safely and securely. When we first drove through the electric gates onto the crunchy gravel driveway, we were enthralled by the beauty of the garden. The pleasures continued evolving before our eyes once we were met by Alessandro and were ushered into the Villa. Every detail has been carefully considered and attended to. Extra surprise touches made us feel like we were valued and appreciated guests, like when Alessandro produced a tray with glasses of fresh lemonade with mint, a Sicilian recipe, made with ingredients from the garden. Our room was the size of an apartment with a sitting room and a gorgeous bathroom with a good sized shower and important features such as a makeup mirror! Everything exudes „quality“ and style and expert craftsmanship. Someone with an eye trained for pure perfection was responsible for the transformation of the Villa into a hotel. We later learned that Agostino is an architect. The breakfasts - well, they deserve an essay of their own! They are like private sumptuous smorgasbords, feasts for all the senses that equip the mind and body for hard days of holiday making.

Beautiful oasis in Trapani suburbs. Perfect for travellers with car.Friendly attentive staff. Refined, elegant, tasteful decor that was a pleasure to return to each evening after a day of sightseeing. Trapani is beautiful and had the best passiagata on Saturday evening.

The proprietor Agostino is extremely helpful and welcomes you like a family member.

The location was very close to the cable car to Erice and the old Town and parking was easy to get to by car. The history of the house and our hosts family made the stay very special for us. Augistino and his staff were very attentive and suggested resturants and made reservations for us. He also suggested must see spots in Trapani to visit. We were sorry to have to leave this garden spot.

Beautiful property in the centre of Trapani, safe parking, quiet. lovely welcome by the owner who couldn’t have done any more to make sure we enjoyed our stay and made the most of the city. The most looked after we have ever been in a hotel. Breakfast was gorgeous too. Highly recommend.

The old-school vibe. The staff was awesome. Honestly the location was a bit of a haul from the historic district. The town of Trapani is a great place for one day, any more and it gets old. Not alot to see.

Wow, what a beautiful home base for visiting Trapani, the Egadi Islands, Erice, and San Vito Lo Capo. Agostino and staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The best parts of staying in a family home and a boutique hotel. I only wished we'd spent more time here and enjoyed the pool and cocktails.

We should have spent more time here, never really got to enjoy the garden and pool.

The welcome began before we arrived with suggestions of places to visit. On arrival, the welcome just got better! Agostino, Alessandro and the staff were very hospitable and willing to help with any questions we had about our visit to Trapani and Sicily in general. The grounds and house are an oasis of peace with a very interesting history. Lots of fruit piled up on a plate in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was lovely!

Honestly everything was perfect!! The warm Welcoming with a refreshment drink! The Breakfast unbeatable and very thoughtful! The owner extremely nice and very helpful with information around Trapani and Erice! We highly recommend Giardini Mon Plaisir:)))

Elegant simplicity and a most gracious staff. Fabulous breakfast every day, welcome drinks, walking distance to cable car to Erice. safe neighborhood.

The neighborhood isn’t special but it’s very safe and once you’re in the walled compound you will realize you are in paradise.

The building is beautiful. Nice garden and swimming pool. Very comfortable room. Breakfast is great. Free parking inside the property. Nice air conditioning with perfect temperature. Owner and staff are extremely kind and helpful. They will help you with absolutely anything you may need and will give you great tips and recommendations to plan your days around Trapani.

Location is a bit far from the city center, but it makes it very quiet and is not a problem if you have a car.

The place is absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean. Building and pool are stunning. Little touches in breakfast, gorgeous coffees and pastries and we got a little marmalade gift on leaving :). The thing that makes this place though are the owners & staff, they couldn't do enough for us and as people who knew very little about Trapani before arriving they saved us a lot of research and hassle in the three days we were there by providing area information, being super responsive and helping us out constantly - such a nice bunch :)

Only downside was the walk to town was slightly beyond our reach in the heat! But we were connected with affordable taxis available to whatsapp that show up in 5 minutes by the hotel management so barely affected us.

The hotel was very peaceful, Agostino was very helpful; everyday he asked our plans and sent over additional information for our days out. The breakfast was good and the staff were most helpful.

Location wasn’t in the old town, but totally worth it for the sake of having a pool

Lovely big bedroom and bathroom, never too hot (even without air conditioning on) and because of the shutters on the windows it was dark and quiet for as long as we wanted it to be! Good size bathroom too. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable. There was a huge bowl of fresh fruit served to each individual table. Freshly squeezed orange juice available and delicious yoghurt. Beautiful croissants and a “daily special” which could be sweet or savoury. It was quite a treat to have such a special breakfast served at the rate charged for an overnight stay. Nice peaceful garden and terrace with a lots of parasols, sun beds and chairs at the pool area. A perfect place to unwind from mid afternoon on when we had finished our sightseeing trips. Free (and secure) parking was a bonus and above all the staff were outstanding.
