Gorgeous place, super comfortable beds and a wonderful swimming pool. But most importantly: amazing hosts who were incredibly helpful. We had a dental emergency and couldn't find a dentist who would help us anywhere in a 50 km radius. Upon asking, the host immediately hooked us up with her personal dentist. He helped me that same afternoon. It's little things like that make a great big difference - thank you Martine!

Wifi wasn't always available, that was a minor inconvenience.

The tranquility of the place. It was very relaxing and the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable.

A bit too expensive.

I liked to much. A very new and confortable house witth everything you could need and much more. Placed in a super calm area surronded by nature where the only noise you could here it Would be the birds singing..... Very nice owners too......Thanks so much!!!!

Everything Was Perfect!!

The owners are wonderful and really make you feel welcome, ensuring that your stay is perfect. The house Hibiscus is very spacious, clean, well equipped and make for an idyllic holiday. The location is beautiful- overlooking a picturesque lake and surrounded by countryside. Everything is very well maintained and it’s clear the owners are passionate about proving a high standard of accommodation. The tennis court and garden in the grounds of the main Château are simply an added bonus. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful area, nice and well-equipped house, nice swimming pool, not far from a supermarket and the town of Périgueux (about 8-10 min drive). A lot of interesting wildlife can be discovered within the vicinity of the gîtes, which our kids loved. Incredibly kind and helpful owners (merci Martine et Didier pour l’accueil chaleureux). Also a great place for watching the starry sky, we have never seen this many stars and the Milky Way before! We’ll definitely recommend Le Domaine de Pouzelande to our friends and family.

The house and hosts were perfect! The only minor negative feedback that we could think of (although we are not sure if this was due to official policy or simply something these particular guests did on their own initiative): one afternoon we had the very unpleasant surprise of standing eye to eye with a large dog within the swimming pool area. With two young kids that did not dare enter the pool area anymore after they spotted the dog, which would not stop growling at them, this created a bit of a tense situation. Fortunately, we were able to solve this problem directly with the dog owners, but a strict no-dog policy for the swimming pool area would be preferable.
