Wonderful setting and hostess

A stunning building beautifully restored.We enjoyed the lounge that overlooked the waterway and the peaceful elegant garden at the rear of the property.Breakfast was super ,Everything you could want.And a good nights sleep was had in the comfortable beds.The owner was so helpful and friendly .We look forward to returning again and again.

There was nothing to not like.This hotel was perfect for us in every way.

The Japanese Garden was ideal for relaxation and for our dog. The reception is run by the extraordinary supportive daughter of the owner. The former customs office has been converted into a very charming place.

The nearby harbor can be noisy now and then. If temperatures go beyond 30 degrees, an air conditioner would be helpful.

The breakfast was rich and varied. We definitely got satiated and we didn't finish everything. Plus the bed was very comfortable :) The garden of the place is really nice! Relaxing and clean and well-kept! And the property gave us complementary cava when we arrived - nice touch! Honestly, for my taste, I would've preferred better bathroom conditions instead of the cava

The bathroom was disappointing - no wonder there aren't detailed pictured from the bathroom when they show the rooms on the website....It was looking old and not well maintained. Needless to say, it had no ventilation. It definitely wasn't the bathroom from 1910, when the building is from (then it would've been retro). Because of the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, the room became very moist after both of us took a shower. So it was difficult to breathe. The window of the room is small and it doesn't have a mosquito net - there was a device anti mosquitos in the room, but with an old and fully used pill, so it didn't help against mosquitoes. The toiletries were cheap-looking: one small recipient of shower gel. Additionally there were q-tips and make-up removing pads.
