Good location, right on the beach, not far from the town, a lot of restaurants, shops, massage, etc. nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Free taxi to the airport. Beautiful garden. Personal bungallow.

The path from rhe main road to the hotel is dark. The road looks like it has not been repaired since the times it was bombed during the war. Sometimes a local guy washes his car in there, and that piece of road turns into a dirty swamp. There is a swarm of dogs hanging around. They are neutral in the day, but in the night they start randomly barking at people. Breakfast might be ok, but it's only till 9:30am, so you have to choose between sleeping and eating. The cleaning is pretty brief. They do not change linens, just "make bed". There is a bar nearby playing loud music in the morning and night. Fortunately, the problem is not that global. I asked to change the bungallow to a bit further from the bar, and the music didn't annoy me anymore, at least it didn't wake me up in the morning (* with door and windows closed). The beach is disappointing. Though they make an effort to keep it clean, the sea is still dirty, the water is cloudy and brownish, no "Bounty" effect. That is not the particular hotel problem though. I explored the beach quite far away, and it's all more or less the same.

This is great value place for a place right on the beach. The staff were excellent and went out of the way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

really need renovations , additionally it’s kinda pricey for the rates ; no smart tv for most of the room and bathroom stinks in the Pink hut , do not stay there. suggesting to check the room first before paying 😅

I wanted a place right on the beach and Orange Resort is on the beach and its pool overlooks the beach as well. The pool area, restaurant and garden are very pretty. The location is fine. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance and the resort's food is pretty good though uninteresting. staff were all very nice and helpful.

The rooms are not fresh or new. The temperature on my air conditioner was broken so my only options were on/off and I was cold if I left it on but it was too hot to turn it off. There were mosquitoes in my room , which could be from me going in and out, or from the 2+ inch space under the room door. The shower water pressure is not good. There is periodic *loud* music from nearby. Though not while I was trying to sleep. Staff cleaning rooms in the morning before 9am could be a little more quiet (lots of loud talking). The system for distributing towels is a little mistrustful (exchanging card for one towel per person) and insufficient since the towels for the room and the beach are thin and not large.

Erik and Mandy on reception are amazing 🤩 we booked this very last minute (30 minutes to be precise due to our home stay we booked being inhabitable!) they both were amazing and even got a birthday cake made for my husband whose birthday was the next day! Mandy bought it out at breakfast ! bungalows on the beach are a dream! thank you orange resort you are great 😊 very helpful nothing to to much trouble

From the moment we arrived at Orange Resort it felt like home. The staff at the resort are so friendly, I can’t believe we got such a good place to stay so cheap. We stayed in December 2022 for 8 nights in a beachfront deluxe apartment. The room was close to the beach, impossible to get closer. The location is perfect, so close to variety of restaurants and bars, street food, laundry, shopping, spas and rooms right on the beach. The staff were the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel or resort. The beach had the best sunsets, and the resort bar has cheap cocktails and food was good. Special thanks to Ngoc the pool guy, who managed the pool and provided towels. Thanh, Tea and Hang who worked at the bar/restaurant were all amazing, they even gave us hugs when we left! And the maintenance guy who cleaned up and fixed pool lounges, he was great. Even gave us fresh bananas he grew from his tree - how nice is that!? Orange Resort is rated as 3 star but I think it deserves more than that. I’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star places that didn’t have what this place had. Yes, it’s a little older and needs some maintenance around the place but if you tell the staff they fix things straight away. A few reviews have said the beach was dirty, I don’t agree. We thought it was clean and great for swimming, cleaner than most beaches in Bali or Thailand or Malaysia. It’s not super clear, but still clean. In fact, we were told the best beach on Phu Quoc is Sao Beach on the other side of the island, we went there and I thought it was disgusting. Might depend on the weather and time of year, who knows! Some previous reviews complained about the breakfast spread, but again I disagree. We thought it was the best, so many options and 5 stars to the woman who makes fresh soup, omelettes, eggs and pancakes all at the same time, she was amazing. I would also highly recommend Rose Lele massage in the road the resort is on.

As mentioned, there is a little maintenance to be done but they’re working on it. Our bed was a bit hard for our liking and I mentioned it on checkout and the staff said we should’ve told them and they would’ve given me a new one! I believe that too, so I should’ve said something earlier. Lots of positives for this place, very few negatives
