I liked the bathroom👍 the cleanliness of the room, the owner was ok but not not very welcoming…. BUT: it was a very small room with a very dusty/dirty screen viewing the garden hidden behind the branches and tree🤦🏻‍♀️ the village is a has been… nooothing is going on there and the only activity is a bar/café, gelateria and a pizzeria… a very very empty restaurant on the deserted beach and another deserted restaurant on the main street with the owner and kid on the chairs at the entrance… The beach has no sand but only stones and it’s empty, even difficult to find where to rent a beach umbrella… noooothing to do there and the village looked like a ghost town🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Not a place for tourists!!!!

I find the price i paid was way too high for the worth i got!!!

Immediately the cleanliness and the welcome from the proprietor Eddie - he was available at all times, and most courteous, and his attitude of ownership was foremost. Whatever I asked of him, he responded with yes ✔️And the staff he had to take care of the room and the facilities were representative of him. I thank him for making my visit perfect-

Melito di Porto Salvo was not one of the desired stops in our driving tour of beautiful Calabrian towns (I Borghi piu belli d'Italia) but rather simply an overnight stop between two clusters of those towns. It is not, in our view, an especially beautiful town. Similarly, we booked Villa Sul Mare simply as a serviceable en route accommodation and our expectation aligned with reality. It is serviceable but not, again in our view, a destination accommodation. It's a 7; does the job but best suited for a one-night stay.

The room was small and basic. The bathroom was particularly small and basic.

Eddie was wonderful, Villa Sul Mer was an excellent value and perfect location just across the street from the beach. All the guests were interesting and breakfast was always ready and welcome - I would stay again for sure - thanks Villa Sul Mer!

Everything was pleasant, there isn't anything I required beyond what was offered.

We loved this place! What a hidden gem and right across the street from the crystal clear sea. Welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast and unbelievably clean. I'd return in a heartbeat! Thank you all for making my families stay so memorable.
