Great value, very clean

The room was clean and tidy. It was close to the theatre, which is why we were staying, and great for an overnight stay. It had tea and coffee making facilities. Shower and bathroom was clean.

It was very impersonal, given checkin was via a code to unlock the door to your room. I understand this was setup due to Covid, but still in place. You did not see any staff on checkout either, you just left.

The location is great and it was clean.

We choose the location as it was a short walk to the Theatre in which we bought tickets to see a Concert. the convenience of the location was perfect for visiting the Theatre and Central Thirrul. The room was clean and tidy and well serviced with a mini bar with breakfast options. I would stay again if visiting Thirrul. Ease of remote contact and explanation about check in and check out

An iron was provided in the room, but no ironing board. I could not find one in the laundry facility either. Had to resort to the old towel on the bench ironing method. Nothing major though.

Key card entry was great, but it means that you never have contact with staff. Full size fridge and kitchen is very useful. Close to Thiroul village, shops and restaurants.

Some of the lights were not working and the bathroom was clean but not well designed.

Large Fridge, comfortable bed, easy check-in, lots of goodies in the fridge for breakfast. Very clean.

Location. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and were the best thing about the Thirroul Beach Motel. Bed was very comfie.

Decor was very dated and horrible. Tile floor and bathroom had seen better days. Large dead cockroach on toilet floor. All the furniture needed replacing. We have been to plenty of motels at similar price to this one, so there is no excuse. We left after one night. Outside was very tatty with renovations going on and lots of tradies with big utes parked there. No sea views. Cannot quite remember but think they didn’t have a folder of local restaurants etc. no instructions for tv and we had to get a staff member to help. I don’t think I have written a bad review like this before. If they got their act together, landscaped the garden properly, fixed the decor etc it could be a great little money spinner. Here’s hoping.

Not much, other than the pretty blue occasional chairs and complimentary cereals for breakfast.

The very poor attitude of the male owner when reluctantly dealing with a significant overnight accommodation challenge, leading to zero sleep, a very unpleasant stay and ongoing issues for many days after my stay. Thank you to the female owner who refunded me without hesitation. Despite a good first impression, I would never stay here again.

very strong smell of bleach when i arrived, almost over powering. Noisy as was on the main road, was woken up very early with the traffic noise on the road

Good is location, room is comfortable enough. Bedding is comfortable. Bathroom-toilet needs up grade. Overall is a present stay. We are coming back for Christmas holiday.

Bathroom’s vanity is too small. No cloth hangers in wardrobe.

We decided to leave early a day early because the weather was terrible and were reimbursed for the night. That was a nice surprise!

We had TV trouble but once I made a phone call the problem was solved.

Great to have cereals and a toaster in the room, but shame that there was only one bowl to eat from!!

Location and they had three seperate beds for us the breakfast cereal and milk in the room. Good comfortable beds nice clean linen and towels.

The fridge froze my fruits and vegetables the shower door was broken making it hard to get in and out of the shower. There were clothes in the draw next to one of the beds

Room was big, pleasant, comfortable bed, very clean. Location was good. You could walk to places. No traffic noise. Easy access. The air conditioning was on which was great as it was 35 degrees when we arrived.

The pluming was noisy, Lack of bench space in the bathroom. The Mirrors, very small one in the bathroom and one behind the front door. Lack of power point in the bathroom to use a hairdryer.

Cleanliness and crisp sheets

We stayed on two different occasions. On the fist our bathroom shower had a problem - can't recall just what the problem was, sorry
