Very spacious and private

Promised cleaning but no one showed up for the entire week of our stay

location was easy to get to, could walk to the lighthouse and the beach.

There was heavy mold in the bathroom-on the ceiling and around the tub. cobwebs on the wall. seemed very worn. Also rather noisy from neighbors and street

In great spot right near the River and the Atlantic,

Close to the ocean and the mouth of the river, lovely location, nice host.

The location was good (if you don’t want to be in the city centre itself), opposite a park, and close to the waterfront.

The property was not particularly clean, dusty in most rooms, which left me needing to take my inhaler every morning when I awoke. There is mold in the bathroom, and the electrics gave me cause for concern in terms of their safety (photos added to show this). There was no view. The bedroom window overlooks an enclosed courtyard, of which you can see less than a meter, and the living room window was shuttered from the outside, so unless you are tall, you cannot see over it. Finally, this property is listed as giving you the option to pay at the property. I was not given this option, and was billed on arrival to the card linked to my booking.com account, which is not how I wanted to pay, and had I known this would happen I would not have chosen this option when booking.

Great location near the ocean (5 mins walks). easy to get city center by bus.

Needs a bit renovation.
