The location of Marea La Paz is well off the beaten path, but so worth it. It's out of the hustle of La Paz proper and within walking distance to an excellent local restaurant that we enjoyed several times. The grounds are lovely. Artistic, inviting, very well-maintained and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing; the selections were wonderful and all of the staff were friendly and very professional. We thought the value was very good for such a lovely little gem of a hotel.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms, great shared space with kitchen available to guests. Located close to the sea, allowing some nice views. The staff was great and very helpful.

Nothing. Not very close to the city center but that was an advantage for us.

Nothing everything was perfect

Perfect little gem, right on the water with a cute beach. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to arrange tours and dinners for us. Daily breakfast included at on site restaurant. Laundry on site. Large closets. Daily cleaning service. Huge open stocked kitchen on the 3rd floor, dining and hanging out area where birdwatching can become mesmerizing. L'occitane soaps and gourmet coffee in room. Can't say enough about this boutique hotel.

It is a quiet place

We were at the glamping area. we were the only ones out there so we had the facilities to ourselves and even the beach felt as if it were just for us.

the only things I can say is it’s a little bit off the Malecon. This made it a little inconvenient to go out at night.

Nice room in the building with balcony and easy to get into town by bikes..Breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The beach is ok to have a sit but not the best to go swimming..

The hotel hosted a wedding reception one night of our stay, which meant loud music until 01:00. another two nights neighbours played loud music for most of the night. heaps of space but strangely no swimming pool.

We loved our stay at Marea! Our room on the third floor was lovely and spacious, we especially enjoyed the large balcony. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The staff was incredible- so friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was delicious and we actually loved the location, set away from the busy malecon but easily within walking distance along the bike path. We felt super safe the entire week, even walking home at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Our only complaint would be that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable and the dog next door barked a lot during the night. But those were both not a big deal!

Gets loud some nights due to other events happening at the hotel. No way to close or lock the tent but all was safe in the end. I underestimated how cold it gets at night!

The suite was beautiful, spacious and clean, with a beautiful view. The rooftop shared lounge and kitchen were a beautiful touch. This is a beautiful place in La Paz, relatively quiet, and right on the bay. I loved the chili relleno in the restaurant, as well as the omelettes. The staff were eager to help. This is not a cabo resort where everyone speaks english, so it gave me a good chance to practice my Spanish.

The restaurant did some things really well, and some dishes showed up dry or cold. I think perhaps the first night they were just understaffed. This is an event center, so best expect noise from weddings and parties to go to midnight or so at least. These were happy noises, and didn't bother me a lot, but I would let friends know that before they book. There is no pool here, and the bay is not really clean enough to swim, with all the marina activity.
