Very nice location near to 2 beaches, bus stop, restaurants and mall. Cool big pool. Super friendly host.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not cleaned very well when we arrived, especially in the kitchen. The kitchenware was quite worn out and there were dirty glasses, among other things. However, we did receive a new big pot which was very nice and helpful since we like to cook.

I met Ron and his lovely daughter Ella immediately upon arrival, and they showed everything and the parking space in the garage. The access to the marina was also demonstrated, and the marina is gorgeous after dark. The washer and drying racks worked well. The stove and TV all worked as did the hot water. Unfortunately, a storm the previous week caused damage to the ocean view accomodations booked, and this went without notice until arrival. If you are booking the still listed ocean view apartments, they are damaged and unusable until "after insurance claims." Despite booking more than a week previous to the stay checkin and the storm having passed a week prior. This required a last-minute change a week after booking and passing of the storm. A missed call while in the air at night without a voice message or any notice of this fact was the only contact to inform prior to landing. All said and done, this apartment is very well located with a local stop market, fully stocked grocer at reasonable prices. The value is good for the money despite maintenance issues. The Marina is a nice area to walk at sunset. Parking is very close. The bed was comfortable, and the split units all worked well. There is a gym above average standards nearby and other laundry rooms for rooms lacking a washer in the units. The cafes are literally a 5 minute walk and 1 floor down. You can even attend a sailing source at the bottom floor, and a shopping mall is a 10-minute walk within the marina.

Unfortunately, due to a major storm, the week before the ocean view apartment was unavailable. The host was more than happy to refund the difference upon request, but at half the rate of the difference where about 12 dollars a day for 10 days was the difference. They did offer another apartment with the top of ship masts, the only visible ocean view. The apartment provided was a ground unit with a washer and was extremely cold on the floor the entire stay despite heat from the split units. A 10-day stay usually requires more than 3 roles of toilet paper, but that was no concern as the positive feedback shows a grocery store in a short walk. A former guest's worn-out and torn shirt in the closet with the collar torn or a dirty frying pan in the cupboard with all still wrapped in bubble wrap from some time previous indicated this apartment is not stayed in often. The bathroom sink would not drain, and the TV remote had dead batteries. The SPLIT unit batteries also died during the stay. None of these would preclude a further visit. I would, however, suggest a review of the maintenance program. Another prime example of this is the shower head. I spent 20 minutes unplugging by hand as every nozzle in it was plugged. My stay was brief, so I did not reach out on these concerns as the host was delayed in response to other concerns and did not offer a refund for the price difference without my asking. The WIFI is not good. Also, if a response to the parking garage doors closing prior to being able to enter due to closing on the previous entrant without tailgating the gate, indicated I can come up with a creative solution rather than fixing the time delay by getting out of the car and rescanning my key card out and then in again. The garage also has many broken-down cars with flat tires. Restaraunts here are overpriced at about double the area average with terrible service as they cater to tourists. Ron did well despite these rather trivial concerns.

good location parking a plus reasonable gym and great swimming pool for the summer

The location is fantastic--walking distance to two beaches, the marina, restaurants and grocery store! The pool was great as well. Having underground parking included was extremely helpful. The apartment is well managed. The owners are very responsive and very helpful. Everything was comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Location is great, the pool wonderful and the little garden of your own great. Air-conditioning in both, living room and bedroom. Huge fridge. Nice host. Parking on site excellent and infrastructure like restaurants etc round the corner.

There was a slight smell in the apartment and the kitchen could have been better equipped with pots and other utensils to cook something.
