I loved being so close to the sea, beautiful view from my room, super staff, quiet and calm atmosphere. The room and facilities just perfect, cosy, clean and comfortable.

En route to Dolphin's Playground we'd detoured to Nature’s Valley, well worth a visit. On our arrival, Pam our host gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We had a lovely room, one of three grouped round a large deck overlooking the sea, with a lovely bathroom. We enjoyed good breakfasts sitting outside overlooking the sea, with fruit, juices, yogurt, a hot meal cooked to order, toast, and tea or coffee. We enjoyed a walk along the beautiful white beach, we also spent a morning hiking a trail on the Robberg Nature Reserve followed by an amazing afternoon at the nearby bird sanctuary. Nearby restaurants were the Fat Fish, by the sea, offering beautifully cooked meals, and Cornuti, good for Italian traditional favourites.

what a pleasure to have been able to spend a night here! The owner was a very kind woman who ensured we always had everything we needed at all times! her property is a lovely one with a wonderful deck looking out onto the ocean and just a few minutes walk from the beach. the rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Pam is a truly amazing host who really LOVES to run a B&B. Together with her great staff she let us feel at home during our two nights long stay in room ‚Seahorse‘. King side bed is very comfortable, breakfast on the deck excellent, complementary coffee in the afternoon…

The property was ok
I was charged Bed & Breakfast and departed early the next morning and was told they are not getting up early to make breakfast when I requested a breakfast pack that could have been arranged the night before. I now basically paid for accommodation including breakfast and did not get breakfast.

Pam was an excellent host who ensured we had everything needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the Dolphin room which was more than comfortable and great value for money. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The view from the balcony is superb any time of the day.

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much. Good breakfast each morning with lovely sea views, Pam did more than expected to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The breakfast was very nice, high quality and very professionally served. Reception very good and friendly with detail information about places to visit and to do. Very quiet and nice if you want to rest and relax.
We can honestly recommend the guesthouse and will visit again. Being in the hospitality business ourselves, we know what to look out for.

clearly we liked the very open, friendly and helpful host. the view from the terrace is amazing. we did start watching until midnight. we had a grade breakfast in the morning. on top the host gave us some individual travel tips which made our stay in Plattenberg even more special.

Location was great, walking distance to the beach...everything was within short driving distance. A good place to relax and vegetate.
