Das Frühstück war sehr, sehr gut, die Lage fanden wir toll. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt, dieses Gefühl hat sich im Laufe der Woche, die wir dort waren, nur verstärkt. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten, aber wir kommen wieder. Wir haben schon einige Erfahrung aber nur selten haben wir solche herzlichen Gastgeber angetroffen, vielen Dank an Familie Alaj. Ansonsten bleibt nur zu sagen, dass die Mischung aus dieser wunderschönen Villa, die mit so viel Herzblut wieder hergerichtet wurde und der Herzlichkeit der Familie Alaj diesen unseren tollen Urlaub ausgemacht hat.

Uns fällt nichts ein, was aus unserer Sicht verbessert werden müßte.

Dieses Haus ist außergewöhnlich und wunderschön, die Zimmer gemütlich und die Betten super. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück ist super! Unbedingt das Rührei probieren!! Besonderes Highlight: Herrn Alaj erzählt die Geschichte des Hauses- super sympathisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fabulous restoration of old building and incredibly helpful owners. Wonderful breakfast, and an offer to make a packed lunch to take with us. Very comfortable room, incredibly clean.

Difficult to find as the hotel sign is faded and not very obvious. Nowhere to sit in the evening as the room was not big enough for two chairs. Rather expensive.

Innkeeper Bessa was super friendly and accommodating, breakfast was wonderful, the inn is beautifully restored. The location is nice on the edge of town so quiet but easily walkable into town, and close to Wartburg Castle.

It was unusually hot for the area when we visited and no AC, fans in the room would be helpful. Also, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working.

The host is very accommodating, the breakfast was great.

We particularly liked the landlords, they are a real success story. Not originally from the country, they revitalised a derelict building and brought it up to its former glory. This all through their own vision, hard work and financial commitment. Now this gem is already a listed building We wish them continued success

We were placed on the 3rd floor and being at an advanced age, found the steep stairs challenging . Although we were impressed by the transformation of the house, we were unlucky with the choice of room as it did not mirror the rest of the house. This room could have been in a b&b anywhere for half the price. The room lacked any personal touches, decoration or imagination. For instance we had to barricade the door with suitcases because the lock did not function.

The service in general. our room with patio was very clean and big. the breakfast was very good and the owners were really friendly

Exquisite beauty of the house and rooms - simply out of this world. Breakfast was excellent too, lovely atmosphere, great team.

First class renovated art noveau property, large rooms, superb customer attention and excellent breakfast. Ideally situated for visits to the Wartburg castle and for the great town of Eisenach.

A “sofa corner” would have suited the room nicely.

Lovely woman running a very carefully renovated historic villa. Great breakfast, very attentive service.

The only issue we had was not being able to pay with credit/debit cards from non-German banks. Had to dash to the town to search for a cash machine.
