Our room was clean and spacious and the view was great. It takes you about 10-15 min to get to the centre of the town, which was okay for us. Perfect for our three-night stay.

I didn’t love the pillow, but other than that, everything fulfilled our expectations.

The room were clean. They have parking space also since we bring a car.

Friendly staff, on the water location. New clean rooms. With lake view. Would recommend.

Simple hotel but the annex room we stayed in was modern and spotlessly clean, with small kettle and small fridge. The hotel has its own small private beach and a shady garden. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. It is possible to buy breakfast items for a reasonable price to eat in the garden or on your balcony. It is a 15 minute walk into the centre of Menaggio. Value for money and we would definitely return.

Hotel Garden was very welcoming, nice and polite service, the waterside view is an absolutely amazing feature given the price range of the hotel. You also got an access to a small beach with free lounge chairs and possibility to go for a swim, would definitely return!

The room was amazing: big, clean, bright and with a balcony facing the lake. It was super nice to be able to finish and start the day with these views. What we also loved was the private beach. We nearly always had it for ourselves and it was really well taken care of (it was cleaned daily from debris that the lake carried to the beach).

It would be great to have a bit of information in the bedroom about the hotel (a paper would do). For example: how and what to order for breakfast, any rules about the beach and materials, the wifi... instead of having to go to the reception every time to ask for these things. A little "tour" to show the facilities or to explain all the above would have been appreciated.

View, clean, fresh sheets and towels, spacious rooms, looks like bathroom was recently renovated, easy acces to water. Minibeach and perfect for a swim or sub. This is a real gem, how is this a 2star hotel?!!

All was perfect

- size of the room - the view from the balcony

- very unwelcoming and not very communicative receptionist - barely any information was given to us upon arrival, we had to intervene to get a wifi password, find out about beach rules (see below), ask about A/C and the like. Similarly stern attitude during checkout - no "thank you for your business" to be heard around here. - unclear/weird rules of using beach equipment (we were simply informed not to use it even though we've seen other guests using it quite freely) Speaking of which, the collection of random gear was held in a dilapidated garage right at the beach - the A/C was clearly in need of inspection/cleaning as the information on its display suggested, but it was ignored by the staff even after having pointed it out to them - mouldy air in the room (see above) - dirty towels upon arrival - stinky closet (probably connected to the mould/humidity issue) - location not so convenient after all (the heat made every walk to the town a chore and the nice passageway gets old quick) - low value for money given all the above

The room was clean, comfortable parking place near building, the view from balcony very nice. Nice place near the lake to sit and enjoy the view of the lake Como and mountains. It is possible to go swimming near.

I liked the fact that we had a little terrace with view on the lake and a small garden right under us ! It was really nice and peaceful. Plus it was not far from the centre where we had an Amazing dinner and walk afterwards.

It was a bit hot in the room and it was not really optimal to open the door to the terrace because we had some insects coming in. Maybe they should add a protection

The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and helped us to get cabs when we needed them. The breakfast was very good. Service was good and staff was friendly.

We did not have a car, and it was a distance from town. All was okay in the daytime, but walking at night was a little unnerving since our path was not well lit.

Great little hotel, beautiful views and lovely breakfast. Menaggio is an easy 15min walk along Lake Como.
