Great location, easy walk from the train station. Great restaurant with a variety of food and live music on the nights we were there. Located right next to the shopping area of Fussen.

The shower is open (no door) so there is no privacy, no tub if you need to bathe small children.

Lovely hotel located in the centre of Town. We got a nice upgrade which was very appreciated. The staff was great and very friendly and service minded. Nice restaurant and bar.

We didn't have any warm water in the morning. But when I told the reception about it, she was very apologetic and gave us some compensation. So I feelt they turned it around and we left very happy.

This hotel is in a great position at the end of the main shopping/restaurant area in Fussen. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. Our room had a great balcony looking out tom a fantastic view of the mountains. The hotel was very clean and had a great selection of food for breakfast. The hotel has an underground car park if you need to park a car. We had a great stay at this hotel as we were touring around Bavaria.

Family of 5 in connecting rooms was cosy. Breakfast was amazing and staff very helpful. Location very central and easy to get around. Left a football in the room and the hotel were great in assisting for it to be couriered to us.

it was very hot in the room - could not control temp and tried to go down to reception and they were gone for the night.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sonne. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and attractive, the location is ideal, and the bar was a fun way to wind down with family at the end of the day.

The beds were a little hard but it was the pillows that were hard to sleep with. They were so soft and flat that it was hard to sleep with them for any support.

Central location, situated in a beautiful environment. Cool interior, tastefully decorated room. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast selection is exciting and very delicious, and the RIWA Restaurant serves excellent flavors for dinner.

We loved the location. Breakfast was simply amazing. We had a group of 10 and they had a table reserved for us, which was really thoughtful and appreciated.

Rooms could have been a bit bigger but not a big deal.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights which was a brilliant location. Lovely Restaurant with exceptional food. Fabulous breakfast. On a whole except one issue in the restaurant 11.05.23. Staff were fabulous polite and helpful. Car parking good value.

On the 11.05.23 A table in the restaurant had been pre booked with reception (no problems) On arrival the pre booked table was in use and instead of an apology or explanation for the misunderstanding we were shown to a different table. When the waitress was asked about the prebooked table we were told the couple were taken longer than expected? When in fact they had just been given their main. Mistakes do happen and an apology and asking if we would like to be shown to a different table or come back a little later would of been appropriate rather than being deceitful.

First, the personnel was exceptional. Everybody, starting from the reception, was very kind, helpful, speaking very good English and willing to assist. The breakfast was very good. The room was OK, acceptable so to say. Satisfactory clean. The private garage is an extra plus. Location is also very good.

The bed was too soft, and so were the pillows. But again, thanks to the personnel at the reception - the pillows were changed.

The room rate did not include breakfast and the price for paying it Directly at the hotel was 3X comparing with the online booking, so we had to have breakfast outside the property.

Hotel is near city center. Driving to Schloss Neuschwanstein parking lot is just 6mins. Breakfast is superb.

Sound proof is bad. Anyone walk through hallway, any movement in upper floor or next door, you can hear it very clearly and very loud.

It's a very characteristic hotel and a pleasure to arrive by car, given the generous loading area. The parking was already reserved and marked with a print out of my name! The welcome given by the staff in English (as I don't speak German) was effervescent and it seems as though they had all the time in the world to answer my questions and give local recommendations. The room had a lovely view over the Old Town and the rooms were confortable with almost every convenience including slippers and robes. The lobby and communal areas were pleasant and the restaurant seemed quite vibrant, though I didn't dine in there. There are complementary apples offered at the reception desk. This is a really high quality offering.

The pillows are quite an odd shape, but it didn't prevent me from sleeping comfortably.
