Clean and tidy apartment with all amenities

The WIFI did not connect to my laptop

We didnt have breakfast so cant say about that. We needed to stay close to ice arena because of competition next morning. This apartment could suit better for a longer stay as it was lovely and had all one could need: living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, lots of space in cupboards and all appliances which you cant get in lots of hotels. We didnt need them though as our time there was not long enough.

We had to close all curtains as workmen were behind the windows in the morning but we were advised about that beforehand and things need doing so not a big deal.

There was some severe condensation or leaking from the window of the master bedroom, which made the clothes I had left by the windowsill to become soaking wet by the morning. Perhaps this was just due to the poor weather?

A deluge of emails about check in and key pick up that could have been so much better and less confusing, I think I had 10 emails about it when one would have done. This property is sound and in a good location but let down by poor attention to the basics which would have resulted in a nicer stay. The WiFi was a 4G dongle that didnt work, neither my iPhone nor iPad, nor others in my group, could find or connect to it. All of the windows are sealed shut so there is no fresh air, some of the windows are loose and have been sealed with duck tape. The TV was stuck on Spanish. There were no, or dreadfully insufficient, basic supplies. The kitchenette had a dribble of washing up liquid that made it virtually impossible to wash up, the lack of a plug in the sink made that worse. There was no supplied shampoo or shower gel, I had to make do with what was left in a hand soap bottle. I dont mind bringing or buying supplies if I am there a week but for one night it seems silly. All of the plug sockets were bizarrely hidden behind furniture and inaccessible for charging devices unless a bed or wardrobe was moved. Odd stains here and there and some petty damage to furnishings that should have been repaired - it just made it look tatty. There is no car park, the nearest NCP one is a good 10 min walk away which is fine if you dont have luggage. The outside of the apartment unit is being refurbished, there is scaffolding covering what would have been a view and workmen will appear from 9am onwards making noise and staring in your bedroom windows. On arrival there was enough hot water for 1 person to have a shower, then it went cold. In the morning the water was still cold and I had to boil the kettle for a basin wash as the boost system simply takes too long to wait for the hot water.

Lovely apartment, decorated very nice and modern, really clean. Amazing views. All the staff I spoke to were lovely.

Parking is advertised but this is limited. This is not clear before booking so I was left with a £50 bill for parking. The accommodation blame booking.com and booking.com blame apartments.

Lovely apartment, spotless, very nice. Bed a little hard for me as we're the pillows but that's just personal preference. View was fantastic. 5 minutes to arena. Lovely. Easy to find and gain entrance as well.
