Characterful hotel in superb location. Room was comfortable - bathroom modern and well equipped. Food was good. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Appreciated fan in room as weather was very warm.

unhelpful reception when asking about choice of rooms was told that room was selected by booking.com and so could not be changed . room was located near to noisy kitchen extract that ran intermittently all night in otherwise silent environment. Noise between rooms terrible as could hear distinctly people in next room merely talking

Very small room, only very basically equipped. In the room, it was very hot. As the window opened towards the street, it was not possible to open without being exposed.
