The owner of this property is a perfectionist. That means that you shouldn't look at the presentation of the house as advertising. What you see is what you get. I don't know who you are, so I will not try to convince you to hire this place. Instead, I will tell you about my vacation. I am an experienced house renter. First, on the negative side, when renting, I didn't realize that I had to drive and drive and drive to get there. The first hours are great, as you are on a highway, but then come miles and miles on bad roads. That said, when you get there, if you have a car that can cope with the steep hill, you arrive in paradise. And - if you are a calm person – you just stay there. Be sure to get up early in the morning, as it gets hot in regular times. Another recommendation, hire a boat and get to see and enjoy fabulous beaches all by yourself. Or, just let the car roll down to the nearest local beach, which has everything you need, sunbeds, sandy beach, and moussaka served from the local guy and his girlfriend who did a lot of carpeting since last year. If you didn't get up at six, your best time of the day would be around seven, when everybody gathers at the swimming pool and the sun is about to set (between eight and nine). The kitchen is the best part of the house if you like to cook. And the garden. The owner has spent hundreds of hours to make sure it looks good, and it does. After four days in solitude, my GF arrived. She loved it so much; we prolonged our stay at the house. The best memories? When we took the couch in the living room into it's sleeping bed mood and stole the owner's Netflix account to watch movies in the middle of the night. The second best memory was running up the steep hill that goes from to house up to the top where you get a magnificent view. Someone told me to rent a villa at Peleponnes as this was an area where not so many tourists come. This year, due to corona, that was so true it was almost sad. Restaurants and bed and breakfast lodges in the area were empty, but, I guess next year if we cope with the pandemic, it will still be true, that if you are looking for something out of the ordinary, and you don't need to go to a place you can brag about, pick this location. Btw, you've got plenty of hotspots for your Instagram Stories.

The views are great 360 degrees and the pool so nice to slip into after a day of sightseeing. We did miss not having an outdoor grill but with the fire hazards it’s understandable. The village of Finikounda was very nice and so was Methoni. We found great restaurants with excellent food.

We hebben genoten van deze vakantieweek. De ontvangst van Ines en haar man was uiterst hartelijk. Het huis was top, met smaak ingericht, alles aanwezig in de keuken. Wij wisselen restaurantbezoekjes graag af met kokkerellen. Er was zelf een cakevorm 👍�. Het terras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht en het zwembad is heerlijk. Erg verfrissend na een wandeling uit het boekje "endaxi, nee we wandelen liever." We deden twee wandelingen. Lastig maar heel mooi. Met dank aan de vriendelijke buurman en zijn vrouw die één van de auteurs van het boekje blijkt te zijn. We zullen niet vergeten wat endaxi betekent 😉�. En hadden we geweten dat er zo'n mooie collectie boeken was, dan had onze valies wat lichter gewogen. Dank je wel voor alles!

Nach einer abenteuerlich Auffahrt zum Haus wird man überwältigt von der Aussicht. Das Haus ist super gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da was man benötigt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Zeer mooie villa voorzien van alle comfort en prachtig zwembad. Zalig genieten op één van de terrassen. Leuke uitstappen en wandelingen. Adembenemend uitzicht. We hopen zeker nog terug te komen. Bedankt voor de goede ontvangst.

Al weer voor het derde jaar op rij hebben wij gekozen voor deze heerlijke villa. Gewoon op alle fronten een dikke 10! Tot de volgende keer.

Wij hebben afgelopen zomer twee heerlijke weken mogen beleven in deze inderdaad luxe villa. De villa is gelegen op een bergkam met aan alle kanten een mooi uitzicht. Doordat de villa hoog gelegen is waait er ook een verfrissend windje over het terras waardoor het ook midden in de zomer hier goed toeven is. De villa beschikt over een erg mooie en goed uitgeruste keuken, prachtige badkamers en ruime slaapkamers. Verder heeft onze dochter genoten van de hangmat op het achterterras. Het mooie zwembad maakt dit alles helemaal compleet. Ook onze twee pubers vonden het een prachtige plek. In de omgeving is veel te zien en te doen. Finikounda is een rustig dorpje, niet al te toeristisch met aardige restaurantjes. Leuk om in de avond doorheen te wandelen. In de villa ligt ook nog een boekje met leuke wandeltochten in de omgeving ( is even doorbijten midden in de zomer met 30 graden maar wel erg de moeite waard). Kortom: een klein paradijsje op aarde. Wij raden deze plek zeker aan.

Wij hebben zes dagen mogen verblijven in deze prachtige villa. Na een prettige ontvangst en een rondje door de villa kom je er achter dat het echt van alle denkbaren gemakken is voorzien. Naast de aanwezigheid van alle gemakken is het vooral schoon en sliepen de bedden heerlijk! Het is rustig gelegen met een geweldig uitzicht op zee en een bergdal. Kortom een geweldig huis, bedankt voor deze schitterende vakantie!

Die Villa Finikounda ist ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit allem Komfort in traumhaft schõner Lage. Es ist so gut ausgestattet, daß wir während unseres Urlaubs absolut nichts vermißt haben. Hervorzuheben sind noch der schön angelegte Garten mit interessanter Vegetation und die aufmerksame und freundliche Betreuung durch die dort sich um das Haus kümmernde Ines. Zum Ausspannen und Erholen gibt es nichts besseres. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Al meerdere keren villa's in Griekenland gehuurd. Voor het eerst in de Peloponnesos. Echt een prachtig gebied! Dan de villa zelf........ Werkelijk super! Mooie strakke villa met leuke keuken, die meer dan volledig is ingericht. Heerlijke bedden en mooie badkamers. Alles was ook superschoon :-). Goed nagedacht over de verschillende hoekjes/terrassen om buiten te zitten. Voor ieder wat wils; in de zon, schaduw of wind. Lekker zwembad met verschillende lig-/zitmogelijkheden. Voelt niet echt als een vakantiehuis, maar meer als een " thuis". Verder goede informatie vooraf van de eigenaren en een goed ontvangst. Op korte afstand leuke plaatsjes met veel leuke restaurantjes. Kortom, wij komen hier zeker terug!

Unser Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus war in vielerlei Hinsicht perfekt. Das Haus ist umsichtig und intelligent geplant. Architektur und Ausstattung sind modern und hochwertig. Das Grundstück liegt dramatisch am Hang mit malerischen Ausblicken auf das Dorf im Tal und auf das Meer. Jeden Abend aufs Neue überrascht der Sonnenuntergang mit 1000 Farben. Die ganze Anlage ist gut gepflegt, die Gäste werden gut und umsichtig betreut, die Realität übertrifft die Beschreibung.

Villa Finikounda is echt een aanrader !! Een heerlijk huis met een prachtig uitzicht. Inrichting is strak en modern en van alle gemakken voorzien. Keuken is luxe en ook zeer goed ingericht. Op dag van aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en was huis zeer schoon. De omgeving is leuk om rond te toeren, ga vooral het achterland in, zeer weinig toerisme, groene heuvels met eindeloos veel olijfbomen. In mei stonden de bermen vol met allerlei bloemen. De havenplaatsjes in de buurt bieden een keur aan traditioneel Griekse restaurantjes. Heerlijk !!! Maar het meest hebben wij genoten van het uitzicht, vanaf het zwembad en terras is het uitzicht over zee en eilanden voor de kust echt prachtig, uren staren. . . . . .

Everything was so clean that it looked as we were the first guests... Even with the beach 5 minutes away, the children preferred the pool. There are many nice restaurants in de area but if you prefer to cook yourself, in the kitchen you can find everything you need. Well equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave and stove. Besides the nice beaches,there are a lot of Greek historic sites (ruins, temples, caves, palaces) and hiking possibilities in the area. We enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful en relaxing place....Unfortunately it was to short!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze ruime, schone en moderne villa (die van alle luxe voorzien is). De temperatuur op de berg was heerlijk deze eerste week van september en het zwembad bracht de nodige verkoeling. Vanaf het terras en vanuit het zwembad kan je meteen genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op zee. De huiselijke sfeer van de villa zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen thuis voelt. We hebben genoten van de mooie omgeving en zullen zeker wederkeren naar deze bijzondere plek!

wir (2 Erw. mit siebenjährigem Kind) haben von 28.062014 bis 05.07.2014 in Villa Finikounda sehr schöne Zeit erlebt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt! Alles im Haus und außerhalb ist in bestem Zustand und geschmackvoll möbliert. Die Lage der Villa mit Weitblick auf Berge und Meer ist einfach traumhaft. Der Pool hat uns allen Spaß gemacht. Dieses Haus ist absolut empfehlenswert und durch die nette Betreuung besonders schön! Auch ein Paradies für Ruhesuchende.

Wir haben die Villa Finikounda Ende Mai für 12 Tage bewohnen dürfen. Angereist mit 4 Erwachsenen und unserer 3-jährigen Tochter, bot uns das Domizil der Familie Gort zu jedem Zeitpunkt ausgesprochen viel Platz in wirklich luxeriösem Ambiente. Insbesondere die Austattung und den unbeschreiblichen Ausblick zu allen Seiten möchten wir hier besonders hervorheben. Die Villa mit Poollandschaft und Garten kann sich problemlos mit jedem 5 Sterne Resort messen. Villa Finikounda befindet sich auf dem Berg Grizokampos, umgeben von Natur pur. Der Wohn-/Essbereich ist gleich mit 2 Klimageräten ausgestattet und garantiert selbst im Hochsommer angenehme Temperaturen im inneren. Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Geräten ausgestattet und bietet Sitzmöglichkeit für alle Bewohner und Gäste. Die Schlafräume sind ebenfalls klimatisiert und lassen sich mit Timerfunktion auf die gewünschte Uhrzeit einstellen. Wechselwäsche und Handtücher sind im Übermaß vorhanden. Auf der Talseite befindet sich eine weitere Terasse samt Doppelhängematte. Das große Schlafzimmer bietet eine Doppeldusche mit phänomenalen Blick ins Tal hinunter. Im kleinen Hauswirtschaftsraum befindet sich eine LG Waschmaschine mit tollem Funky-/Discosound ;-). Familien mit kleinen Kinder werden diese besonders zu schätzen wissen. Der Empfang und die Betreuung von Ines und Jörg seien hier besonders hervorgehoben. Das freundliche Schweitzer Ehepaar war unser Villa Finikounda Ansprechpartner während unseren gesamten Aufenthalts. Eines möchte ich den zukünftigen Gästen von Familie Gort noch mit auf den Weg geben: Wie bereits beschrieben befindet sich Villa Finikounda auf dem wunderschönen Berg Grizokampos. Zu Beginn der Auffahrt befindet sich ein Schild mit der Aufschrift >10 % Steigung. Dieses Schild lügt nicht, nein, dieses Schild untertreibt. Aber keine Angst, mit ein bischen Übung macht es ab dem 3. Tag echt Spass. Wenn wir 6 Sterne vergeben könnten, würden wir das hiermit gerne tun. Elmar, Margeret, Yvonne, André und Klara

Een week hebben wij in deze heerlijke villa gelogeerd. Wat een prachtige omgeving. Een heel moderne villa waar je je meteen in thuis voelt. Waar je ook kijkt overal is wat te zien, hoe langer je in het dal kijkt (vanuit de hangmat die zich achter het huis bevindt) hoe meer je ziet bewegen. 's Avonds zijn er adembenemende zonsondergangen boven zee die vanaf het terras te volgen zijn. Het dorp is op steenworp afstand en voorziet in alle gemakken zoals restaurants waar je heerlijk kunt eten of overdag kunt lunchen, maar ook een boodschap kunt doen in de plaatselijke supermarkt voor het ontbijt aan het gezellige kookeiland in Villa Finikounda. Deze villa is zeker aan te bevelen aan mensen die van rust, schoonheid van de natuur, het Griekse leven en luxe houden.
