My family of 4 loved staying here! We walked to the beach daily, and especially enjoyed our evening walks looking for shells and pretty rocks. We also got in the hot tub as much as possible! We enjoyed access to beach towels and a washer/dryer, and used the outdoor shower after each beach trip. We had more space in the house than we used. We would come back again for sure. Karen was so kind and responsive!

This listing was exactly what we were looking for! It was a cozy house with plenty of space. The backyard was very well maintained. The privacy back there was relaxing and gave our dog plenty of room to roam. Karen was very helpful and we look forward to returning.

We all had a great time. Just needed to relax!! It had everything you could dream of! The owner was so kind and Accommodating. Could not have made us feel more comfortable about staying in her home.

Firstly, Karen was able to accommodate my request for an early check-in. The neighborhood is convenient to attractions and restaurants. The premise is decorated adorably, and was very clean. The accommodations were very comfortable. We enjoyed the large backyard and hot tub. My family and I will absolutely be returning to the property!

This house was a perfect 'home base' for exploring the Cape Cod area. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos and was great for relaxing in the evening after spending long days seeing all the area has to offer. Even though we had to leave our two dogs at home - I love that this house is pet friendly. I'm so glad we found this gem!

Echoing all of the other great reviews. My friend and I (and my dog) spent a long weekend at Karen's lovely home. The house is clean, well-furnished and comfortable, and has everything needed for a great stay (really...bikes, binoculars, reading glasses, sun hats, beach chairs and towels, dog bowls and leashes, extra drinks in the downstairs fridge, books, outdoor shower, etc....we kept discovering new things that came in handy!) We spent mornings on the back deck (the yard is large and private) watching the birds and playing Fetch, walked to the beach each day, and were well situated for day trips to Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Only wish our stay could have been longer! Karen is a wonderful and relaxed hostess...next time, hoping to schedule some massages and use the hot tub. :) Thank you!

We spent 3 nights at this charmingly decorated home with a beautifully landscaped yard. The house has all the comforts of home - well-appointed kitchen, breakfast nook, spacious living room area, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms with plentiful hot water and 2 decks facing the lovely back yard with fire pit. Karen, the owner, was extremely gracious. A huge, beautiful old tree had fallen in the back yard during a storm the night before our arrival (thankfully, no damage to the house) and she was so apologetic for the "inconvenience" which really wasn't a big deal to us at all - we felt badly about the loss of the tree. She recommended several lunch/dinner spots, made sure all of our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed. We had a very relaxing 3-night stay and enjoyed the beaches and shopping/eating at many different locations in the area. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Karen!

We enjoyed everything about this property! The back yard was pristine, the hot tub was amazing, and the beach was a short walk away! It was exactly what we needed. Would book this property again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home! This home is great for families. The back yard is amazing and totally fenced so children can play with no worries. Our granddaughter loved the swing. Plenty of items for the beach…you just need your suit.

Although it rained and was unseasonably chilly we had a nice time at the house. The hot tub was by far the highlight of the trip. Beautiful house in a quiet and cute neighborhood!

The house was beautiful and in a great location. The rooms were all clean. The yard is charming and relaxing. Karen was a great host, I would stay there again.

Our family had a wonderful week enjoying the nearby beach, the bike path along the canal – and most of all, the wonderful backyard that has a basketball court, swing, fire pit, bbq, and hot tub. Other reviews are spot on that the home is better than the pictures reveal – the upstairs is very comfortable, cozy, and clean. However, a couple negatives that we experienced: a strong smell of pet odor/urine in basement family room and rodents were heard in the walls/seen burrowing through the exterior siding. Note that the owner was made aware of these problems and said she would be addressing both.

This home is beautiful and the area is great! 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 30 second walk to the jacuzzi in the backyard. Great stay!

The beautiful property is only outdone by Karen, the host. We spent a long weekend as guests in this delightful home that made you feel right at home . No detail was overlooked for either us or our dog. We loved having morning coffee on the rocking chairs outside our bedroom that overlooked a landscaped yard that gave plenty of roaming space for our dog. Walking distance to the beach, quiet neighborhood and comfortable furniture throughout. As another visitor pointed out, the pictures do not reveal the charm of this vacation home. This house was incredible for our family vacation. We were walking distance to a private beach and a very short drive to Scusset Beach. The layout of the house was perfect for my parents, my husband and I, and our toddler to each have their own space. The fenced in backyard was absolutely amazing to unwind in and the deck was ideal for outdoor dining. Karen, the owner, was extremely accommodating and responsive and we look forward to returning again in the future.

The house and location were perfect for a weekend getaway from Boston. The house is less than five minutes away from a park, and walking to the beach takes less than 10 minutes. The house itself is very clean, well-maintained, and it had a variety of board games and sporting equipment (basketball, football, etc.) to keep everyone entertained.

The house and huge yard were lovely (pictures don't do it justice) and perfect for relaxing, playing (my daughter and son-in-law played a lot of basketball), and hanging out with our infant grandson. The small private beach, which was quiet and not at all crowded, was a five minute walk. The house had absolutely everything we needed to be comfortable. Karen was the best - very welcoming and accommodating. We had a great time - it was just the escape we needed. We definitely plan to go back.

The pictures don’t do this amazing place justice!!! So much space and everything you need for a beach getaway! The home and yard are lovely, very clean. Karen is a wonderful host and very communicative. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend! Fantastic house with big well manicured back yard. The pictures do not do this house justice. Back yard is amazing and is not shown well. Have hot tub, basketball hoop and plenty of room. Have a shed full of toys, balls, lawn games, beach chairs and toys. House came fully stocked with kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, towels, etc which was a nice surprise. House super clean and owner was very accommodative to our needs (early check in to accommodate kids nap time). Location is great in a quiet neighborhood. 7min walk to small private beach and 5 min drive to larger beach. Bonus - owner is a massage therapist so we scheduled a massage during our stay!

The property was even nicer in person than as portrayed in the adds. Spacious bedrooms, great outdoor sitting areas, super relaxing environment and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful private beach. Karen was beyond accommodating and lovely to deal with and I very much look forward to using her property in the future. Josh
