Each year, our family migrates to Cape Charles, and we are so grateful that Blue Bay is part of our tradition! The location is the best in Cape Charles and the house is very clean with a stocked kitchen and little amenities you'd find in a hotel. This house pretty much embodies our family vacation, and our kids have grown up coming here. So grateful to the owner for sharing their little slice of heaven each year...the oldest daughter is graduating high school in three summers and I hope we can keep coming back to this house once she's away at college! Love Blue Bay!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay. The most perfect location one could hope for in Cape Charles! We loved the sunsets on the deck. The house was clean and beautiful. I'm sure the owner will make some of the suggested repairs. It needs a new refrigerator with ice and water. Also the deck floor needs repair. It should be noted that anyone over 6'2 feet should not try to stay on the 3rd floor unless they want to bang their head frequently. Put the kids up there.

Blue Bay was perfectly located to enjoy not only the beach, but the town of Cape Charles. It is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated, providing ample space for our group of ladies celebrating a milestone birthday. Perhaps our favorite place at Blue Bay was the second story deck, where we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We hope to visit again!

Great. Had a wonderful time. The only suggestion that I have is you may want to install a safety hold bar in the upstairs shower. The upstairs tub is very slippery. Also, I requested to rent the home next year for June 16-23. Never got an email confirming my request. Am I scheduled for that week? Thanks. And again thanks for the wonderful stay we had.

We had a great, relaxing weekend. Overall, great house and location. For some reason, trash cans we missing from some of the rooms but we found in odd places when we were packing up to go home. Second floor balcony is awesome for cocktails and watching the sun set on the Bay. First floor sun room is great but furniture very uncomfortable.

Loved it....other than not having coffee grounds for the next morning (that was a personal problem) there was nothing I would have wanted different. Absolutely worth your money. The weather was great and we spent most of our time on the second floor balcony. Ocean breezes and the sunsets were amazing.

We had a wonderful time in this newly renovated home. Perfect location and deck for watching sunsets. Located directly across the street from the Cape Charles City Beach. The renovations were very well done. Loved the decor. Screened in porch added to the enjoyment.Within walking distance to town and the new Buskey Cidery (hope it stays) and the always famous Brown Dog Ice Cream store. Our family always enjoys renting a golf cart while we are there as all streets are golf cart friendly.The third floor is a perfect get away for a family with a queen bed, and two twins and a bathroom. By far, one of our favorite rentals in Cape Charles. Five Star Review!We had six adults and three children and it was perfect for our group! Hope to go back soon.

We had the greatest time in the beautiful home! We noticed immediately that the house was VERY clean- which is not always the case when renting. We were very thankful and this was a big deal to us! Chessie was beautiful from the kitchen/tile/lighting, we loved the sunroom area and especially loved the top deck for sunsets. My family and I love finding new beach towns and Cape Charles has certainly made our list- but only if we can stay in Chessie again! Literally the only thing that I would recommend is a place outside for rinsing the sand off your feet from the beach. We can’t wait to return! Happy 2020!

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a quick we can get away at blue Bay. And the weather was not cooperative whatsoever so we were grateful to have picked such a wonderful house to enjoy some great laughs. Fully stocked, spacious, clean, and unbelievable sunsets. Their property manager was absolutely outstanding as well. Blue Bay is a beautifully decorated and maintained home! Lots of space for everyone, we particularly enjoyed the sun porch. Heated bathroom floors were particularly nice for our November vacation! If you have little ones in your party, definitely make sure they wear shoes when in the yard however, the little sandburs are vicious and caused quite a few crying spells.

This house is amazing. It is completely updated - can you say heated bathroom floors? It has a huge living area just perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed meals in the enclosed porch and sunsets on the upstairs deck. And the beach was right outside our door! We are totally in love with this place. Plus the town of Cape Charles is just a short walk, bike ride or golf cart ride away with all kinds of fun things to see. Don't miss the opportunity to rent this house!

The two third floor bedrooms wouldn't really work for couples (small beds) or tall people (attic ceiling) but worked out perfectly for my daughter and grandson. All the rooms had beautiful views, the kitchen was nicely equipped, the living room was perfect for movie nights, we loved eating and playing games in the sun room and every evening we went out on the second floor deck to watch the sunset. There were nine of us and we had plenty. of space, bathrooms, etc. The wifi worked great which. was a plus.
I recommend you bring your own beach towels, if you plan to spend time at the beach, as there were only two provided. Other than that, we wanted for nothing!

If you have a larger family, Blue Bay is the place to stay in Cape Charles. We would love to stay here again, and we have already told others to book now.
