Good base for walking

We stayed 3 nights in studio apartment up 2 flights of stairs, with balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. Lovely views. Good shower. Enjoyed our stay. 10 mins walk from Potes Centre.

I enjoyed our stay. Reading previous posts anything I was unsatisfied with has been said before and I agree. A fan would be nice as can’t open windows at night, gets stuffy.

The Location, the host and the terrace. The room is perfect for a couple because is small and have a small kitchen that you can use and common areas.

You share the complex with other people, group of families and friends. It is very noisy and if you travel in orther to take some days off for restting this is not helpul. It would have been good that the host had provided with silent hours for everyone. Sleep was hard becase at midnight for example were kids using the pool. The room and the bed was a bit small and I did my book few months ago, I expected a better room.

The Alquitara complex looks really stunning from the outside. Nice, old buildings and a garden loaded with al sorts of flowers. Handy -free- parking on site. We had a studio apartment (3th floor-no lift) with a little balcony with stunning views all around. It is an excellent location for trips in the Picos de Europa and the lovely village of Potes.

As beautiful as the complex looks on the outside, so run down was our so called "superior" studio apartment. Just very run down, old and not very clean. In desperate need of an update I would say. Worst of all are the paper thin walls between the apartments. You can hear everything that´s going on next door. If the neighbours watch a movie until late at night, you will not be able to go to sleep. Alquitara also provides accommodation for groups of bikers. That should not be a problem when they behave themselves, but if they party on the inner court until well into the night, now that IS a problem. No management on site it seems, to tell the party animals to stop.

Location is superb: close to Potes with shops, beautiful surroundings, lovely view from the balcony. Swimming pool is nice after a long day’s hike. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.

Mattresses could have been more comfortable. Some more kitchen utensils would have been nice.

The apartment was very comfortable, very clean and with a good location. It was near the hotel with the possibility to use the hotel facilities: swimming pool, playground, etc. We received an upgrade in the apartment for the same price, everything went really well.

I loved everything about it. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We had a littke kitchen tbat had everything we needed. The photos you see do not do the place justice. It was better than the photos.

Spacious studio - comfortable bed, good kitchen area, good shower room, balcony, view, parking. Location is superb - a mile from Potes, good access to hills - so suited our roadtrip holiday. The venue looks ideal for extended families with multiple buildings, pool, play areas etc.

Nothing really, but others might want to be aware that our studio was 2nd floor so stairs to climb, and it's a mile or so from Potes so a car drive away.

Perfect for a group of friends to use as a base

It was perfect for my stay but could have just done with a little welcome pack, just enough for a brew or a beer and bread or biscuits as I arrived late.

Apartment old fashioned, no sufficient ligth, and there was a view from the window but not a terrace to enjoy it. For me the view was the most important aspect and I was disappointed because I paid extra for it.

The location was was great

On arrival I was placed in a different apartment as they had double booked, I was told I would have to move next door tomorrow. Tomorrow came & went no one came to tell me what was happening. On day three when I arrived back after a long day sightseeing I was told to move all my things to a different apartment as there was a familie waiting for my room. The worst thing about this property is they have a function room in the complex that holds party's etc & on the Friday there was a large group of Spanish families decended on the complex & they were partying till gone 2 o'clock in the morning. The only way I could get any sleep was to use my motorcycle ear plugs. The next day a number of other guests said they to couldn't get any sleep. So you have been warned

Superb views, good facilities, great location, parking plentiful, nice pool, sunbathing area and communal area for bbq,

took ages to check in, ‘Twas if they weren’t expecting us, also one of the rooms wasn’t made up after 2 nights we also had to change rooms as ‘another family wanted the whole block’ so bit disappointed at that it’s a great place to stay, but the organisation needs to be improved…

No reception on arrival. Confusion about rooms.

The location was amazing. Very close to potes and all local amenities a short walk from accommodation. The pictures on bookings.com do not do the place justice. Rooms were a lot bigger than expected and surroundings much more picturesque

We stayed for 7 nights and not once was our bedding changed or apartment clean. Very disappointing.

The property was outstanding. The room was lovely and I liked the character. the views were breath taking from the balcony. it was rather sad to leave. the room was very well looked after and very clean and tidy. simple but just enough.

The location was stunning, I loved that we could use the pool, the hosts were friendly and helpful. It was lovely to have our meals on the balcony, and the size of the flat was big, including the double bed which was perfectly big for me and my partner - we love our own space in the bed!

Time and time again, the language barrier doesn't make it easy to travel around Spain. Nobody speaks English! But otherwise the place was perfect and I wish I could stay for longer.

The lady that owns the apartments is very friendly and helpful. The area for the kids to play is great and out side kitchen is out of this world.
