- Great catering to dogs. The room had a dog bed that my dog loved and two little dog bowls already prepped with water. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel and there are some great walking paths on the property. - The first room of the dining area is really beautiful with an old fireplace; food was excellent and service was excellent . - Very calm and relaxing - Comfortable beds

- The hotel really only caters to German travelers. I speak French, Dutch and English but unfortunately no German. All the communication from the hotel is only in German. And 90% of the staff only speaks German. The above would have been fine if there wasn’t essential information communicated to guests. - The spa/wellness piece was a complete mess. I asked to book treatments when I arrived and they told me it was completely full during our stay and that it had said in an email they had sent that you had to book ahead. That email was in German, so I did not know. This was really upsetting as it was the main reason we come to the hotel. They should have enough availability in their Spa to cater to the hotel guests, especially when the hotel is marketed as a wellness hotel. I asked to be put in the waiting list but did not get a call. On my last day I went to reception just in case to check if something had opened and they told me that something had opened up the day before and they had tried to call me….but only called my room! As if people wait all day in their hotel rooms. They had my mobile number easily accessible and nobody called me. Very frustrating. We were very clear on arrival that this was important to us but no one seemed to care or make an effort to accommodate. - The bathroom was missing hair conditioner

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was generally nice and accommodating. We were offered the possibility to have dinner, as we arrived late (which we didn't take, as the menu was quite heavy). The breakfast was nice and the food had good quality in general. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The road to the hotel is a bit lonely. It was ok during summer, as the sun was out longer. The weather was nice and the view from the hotel was fantastic, so it was a bit of a shame that we got a breakfast table in an inside corner of the restaurant (while there were a lot of empty tables outside and in the conservatory area).

Everything. The details in their service for people traveling with dogs was outstanding. The restaurant was great, the grounds where peaceful and lovely and the staff was friendly. We have already recommended this hotel to several people. Thank you for a great stay.

I am always really happy with hotels in Germany. And this lace was really special in the countryside. Room clean and comfortable. they also have hens wich my son loved.

The WiFi was very poor and recognised by staff. If you have to complete Passenger Locator Forms and upload it is challenging and very frustrating and detracted from an otherwise good stay.

Excellent staff. Polite and nice. Beautiful old buildings (looks like an old farm) Confortable room. Dog welcome package in the room (dig bed and bowl)

Mostly 3rd age guests!

Great stay with wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome. Comfortable and spotless rooms, wonderful food, beautiful grounds and very good location. We look forward to our next stay.

Such a peaceful hotel situated in the middle of the countryside. Very well run, good ambience, excellent restaurant and beautiful surroundings. The COVID precautions were very good indeed, made you feel safe in all areas of the hotel and restaurant.
