Reception very friendly, Beautiful historic building, Restaurant very good South Indian food all cooked fresh ingredients and big sized portions and very helpful staff.There is a next day laundry service reasonably priced.

There was nothing bad about this hotel and we have stayed there over many years and it only gets better.

It was in an excellent location close to the station. The outside space was pleasant and there was a nice atmosphere.

Our first night was spent in a budget double room which was dirty. The neighbouring karaoke nightclub was noisy into the early hours and we couldn't sleep. When we complained to the manager he told us that there were no other rooms available. The following night we were transferred to a much better room at no extra charge. The breakfast was very poor and took ages to arrive.

Courteous front office staff coupled with soothing ambience and preferred location made us very comfortable at the hotel.

Morning Buffet Breakfast. Not value for money at all. we stayed for 3 days and taken buffet breakfast. Nothing was available by morning 8.30 itself and the refill was not done even after repeated requests. Its not worth for Rs 200. May we can have a good breakfast at Adyar Anandabhavan lesser than that.

Location is good, it’s in city centre, so easy to roam around and visit tourist points. Room was clean but very average in terms of facilities.

Bathroom was not comfortable as there is no exhaust fan and hand wash basis was so small , no hinges. no cupboard in room and even a table to open suitcase.

Good location. Nice, spacious and clean room. Staff was courteous. Comfortable stay overall.

Bathroom fixtures were old and in need of maintenance.

Rom service unavailable except morning tea

[1] No towels were kept in the bathroom. After I requested they did provide towels but only 3 towels were provided for a family of 4. [2] We booked initially with credit card. At checkout time, I paid in cash but after I left the hotel, I happened to check my credit card a/c and found out to my surprise that the credit card had also been deducted. They did of course pay back the extra amount when I went back for it, but had I left Mysore by that time, I might have lost the amount.

Restaurent does not work properly... if you want tea at 12.30 PM you cant get it... If you want snacks you wont get it bcoz staff will tell you that restaurent will start at 7 Pm and after 10.30 you cant get breakfast... if you want breakfast then you have to go for buffet you cant order indivisual orders i mean you cant order food you like... Garden was blocked by accessing... its expected as its Govt hotel

Staff attitude was exceptional. Restaurant food and manager plus staff were very good.

Mattresses. I was literally getting buried in it. The floor of the room could have been more clean.

The ambience, outside and inside. Liked the room size , good ventilation, clean.

The food was way too spicy, in spite of asking for non spicy food. Had dinner with some veg curry, dal roti, rice. My friend, who couldnot take the spiciness, she had loose stomach and vomiting. Left Mysore early in the morning.

The room was clean. The staff were polite and friendly, good food and easily accessible.

Location is very good. Easy access to almost every place. Decent amount of parking.

Rooms in old block looks very shady and outdated. There was no indication that room would be in old block and there was no outside picture of the old block in booking.com. Disappointed.

Breakfast was good and so was the food. Location is excellent.Staff have been very courteous and room was value for money.

Once the key is handed over, the reception staff thinks their job is over. I could get the room cleaned only on the 3rd day. Got my password for hi-fi also on 3rd day, after demand. When I went to collect my key on the 3rd day after cleaning, young boy on reception was rude.
