Lovely peaceful setting with character. Great breakfast. Friendly. Attention to detail. Great shower. Comfy bed (apart from hard pillow!)

Only thing for me was the hard pillow! I´m sure if I´d asked for one it would have been supplied........Just too lazy!

Comfortable bed. Good cooked breakfast.

It’s very near a main road, so is not quiet as advertised. Also it’s not easy to walk into the nearby village except alongside this very major road with no side pavement. Moreover the local village restaurant is permanently closed so you still have to drive at least 5k to get a decent evening meal. The property is a bit tired and I would not rate it as higher than two star. You don’t have a private terrace balcony even if you pay for the best rooms, nor a separate sitting room. So I would say it’s very overpriced. Should be about say 60 Euros rather than more than 100.

Very welcoming host. Hotel is based in an impressive old building within spacious well-kept grounds. Breakfast was very good,served by host and a very helpful waitress. Evening meal was hard to find, even in neighbouring town. Would be happy to stay here again.

Tricky road junction on a bend, treat with caution!

Absolutely delightful host who couldn't do enough for us, plus the room fulfilled everything we could have hoped for, including a spa bath! Breakfast was a feast which included bacon and scrambled eggs, and that doesn't often appear on the menu! A very special place and to be highly recommended.

Such amazing history at this place. The host is really kind and they go above and beyond.

The amazing and friendly staff.

Too close from the main road. The metrass. We could hear people in the other rooms speaking. Not so much privacy in the room.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and the hotel is set in a lovely quiet location , but not far from the village. All the accommodation is in rustic rooms with a comfortable sitting area. The bed was very comfortable . In this Covid era we were confident that everything was exceptionally clean and safe.

Internet was available but very slow.
