Dieses Strandhaus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer. Genießen Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee auf einer großen Terrasse mit Meerblick. This property suited our needs well. Beach was just a 3 minute walk away, and we went every day! This is not a regular beach access site, so there is no public parking, but there is also no lifeguard or rip current warnings - make sure to check the surf conditions everyday and watch your kids.
Pros:
-Outside shower and hose to help keep the sand out of the house
-Proximity to beach
-Well-working appliances (Washer is TOP load, not front load like the listing says)
-Plenty of room for a family of 4
-Pet friendly (even though we didn't bring a pet)
-Communication with host - quick responses
-Linens and towels were good quality
-Not a huge list of things to do a checkout
Cons:
-Wi-fi wasn't working properly - communicated with host, but it was never resolved - not a big deal for us
-No shower caddies, or shelves in shower so we had to put our toiletries on the shower floor
-Eating table was sticky - consider bringing a table cloth if you want to use it for board/card games
I would recommend this property to anyone who wants close access to the water, and doesn't need a super swanky place to stay!

We haven't been to Topsail in 13 years and this was a fantastic reunion with the island! The beach house had everything we needed and was extremely convenient to get to the beach. We would stay here again!

its was a nice place & the location was decent. The appliances all worked as well as the water/showers etc. However there were some issues. Whomever is cleaning the location is not doing a good job at all. Your filters are not being changed regularly at all, thee ceiling is black with dust new all of the vents. There was a lot of sand everywhere. I know its the beach but I'm talking about visually being able to see the level of sand under the couch and dinning room table. But at least there is a broom I'm not sure why you have a concrete counter top. There is no was to clean that & its disgusting. You should definitely consider replacing that asap. I suspect that a bleach type of cleaner is being used on the dining room table because it has turned the lacquer sticky and everything sticks to it. There was food wrappers under mattress in the bunkbed room and a lot of sand on the mattress and under the bed. There were only 2 rolls of TP for 4 adults and on child for a week. That is not enough remotely. Another suggestion I have is to put an awning over the door, the door knob gets very hot. it could easily become a hazard. If you are ever able to rebuild the deck to so in the front or even the back on the side it doesn't catch the wind so its just miserable hot on that deck. Also please update your listing there are some things that are not up to date. Like the wi-fi password and there is no grill at least we never could find one. Oh take kids toys down that's a joke.

Location was awesome! Didn’t mind the short walk to the beach. House was exactly as pictured. Comfy beds, had everything we needed. If we had one complaint, it would be that there’s not full cable TV. But definitely not a deal breaker for us. We would stay at ‘lil orphan Annie’s again.

At check in we found the hvac was not working and lights were all off so the house was cold and dark, not a great first impression. The owner was quick to respond and offered the neighboring duplex. The property location and size are great. The furnishings are fine, the bed was comfortable. Overall, the property is as advertised but could use some refreshing. The door locks worked intermittently (low/dead battery on keypads and typical beach corrosion made the keys stick), floors needed to be swept better, a few burned out light bulbs, no cutting board (made meal prep hard). We didn't alert the owner to the minor issues as it was Thanksgiving and we didn't expect anything to be done but I'm sure the owner would have responded appropriately had we alerted them. Overall, everything was fine but with the cost of the cleaning fee plus non refundable pet fee I guess we expected a little more.

Orphan Annie was the best!
This was a trip for us to see family in Wilmington, birthday for grandson and beach time with cousins. It was perfect especially when we learned we could drive out on the beach. My husband is handicapped and that was such a great place for him. We loved our time at Orphan Annie!!!

Our family stayed a weekend and settled in easily. Property was clean, stocked with essentials, comfortable linens, in a quiet area and easy for our family. Beach access is so close. We really appreciated the property accommodating a dog, especially one that is still clean and doesn’t smell like a dog. The backyard is no longer fenced in however, but the neighborhood is quieter so walking a dog along the road isn’t risky. Another nice touch was the drawer of kids books. The place was well decorated. Again, this property was an ideal find for our family.

Short family vacay
This condo was beautifully decorated (albeit small) and right across the street from the beach. There is a little tiki bar down the street but otherwise you have to drive to restaurants.

Great location/Updates Needed
1st of all; great location. If you want a good spot in the beach. This is an amazing spot!!! It is away from most of the touristy attractions, but close enough for convenience. It is a very short walk to the public beach access and in a quiet part of the island.
2nd, the listing needs updated due to the pictures and the description not being an accurate depiction of what the property is. The walls are scuffed pretty good. One of the bed frames is just a wooden slab now. The backyard no longer has a fence around it. (Most of this I do believe this is no fault to the owner- probably reckless renters/weather related) but it still needs updated, because we booked here based on one of those features.
3rd - during our stay the AC was having problems the entire time, I saw from old reviews that this was a problem before. Also, the linen company only provided 4 bath towels for 6 people, the rest were hand towels and wash cloths, so we ended up having to buy extra towels, since their linens company never dropped more off. Also, the right sheets were not delivered for the house. We had to use queen sheets for the twin bedroom. There were places in the house that have not been cleaned(refrigerator, shelves, lights...) Also, the company did not take the trash out Saturday. Owners, I would highly recommend reevaluating the cleaning/service company y’all are using. I don’t think you are getting what you are paying for.

Quiet, easy beach access
The property was very clean and perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils/pots, etc. I was concerned about there being noise from the unit next door, but we didn't hear anyone the entire time we were there. The beach was fantastic: wide sandy beach, not crowded, and easy to get to. We'll plan to stay here again in the future.

There were five of us plus a dog and we all had plenty of room. Short walk to the beach. This is one of the quietest, least tourist - y beaches I've been to. The home is as described and the owner is easy to reach. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed out Stay
This unit was perfect for our family gathering. It is clean and recently updated. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach is right across the street, with access just a few houses down. It has a good sized deck with a view of the ocean between the houses. Chris, the manager, was very helpful in orienting us!

We had a great time at the beach short walk to the beach view from the deck is awesome and house is clean we love the bedrooms with king beds and the bathrooms are remodeled.The only room was okey is the room with twin beds very tiny the second floor doesn’t have a rail on the side so kids couldn’t sleep there unattended.Was easy to reach out to the owner
