Remodeled 3BR/2BA Ski Chalet off Tyro Slope
Wir haben gerade eine 100% ige Renovierung dieses urigen 3BR / 2BA-Ski-Chalets im österreichischen Stil, nur eine Reihe von den Tyro Slopes entfernt, abgeschlossen. Die Einheit wurde im Jahr 2018 von innen und außen komplett renoviert. Dazu gehören ein neues Abstellgleis, eine neue Isolierung, eine neue Küche, neue Badezimmer mit Fußbodenheizung, komplett neue Fußböden und Farben, eine neue Terrasse und ein erweiterter Parkplatz. Dieses Haus ist äußerst praktisch für alle Annehmlichkeiten von Wintergreen, einem 4-Jahreszeiten-Resort, das sich neben dem Blue Ridge Parkway in Nelson County befindet. Das Haus ist weniger als 1 Minute vom Hauptort und den Skiliften entfernt. Sie können ein- und aussteigen, indem Sie die hinteren Stufen und zwischen den Häusern hinter uns hinuntergehen. Keine Notwendigkeit zu fahren und im Resort zu parken.
Es gibt viel Drama in diesem Haus, das den großen Raum des Hauptgeschosses mit einer ganzen Hauskathedralendecke und einem Holzofen kennzeichnet. Das komplett umgebaute Deck überblickt den Tyro-Hang und bietet einen fantastischen Berg- und Talblick auf Waynesboro und Crozet. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich 3 Schlafzimmer, alle mit neuen Schaumstoff-Matratzen (Queen / Queen / 2 Twins) und Bettwäsche. Es gibt einen gemütlichen Leinwandraum neben dem Meister, der auch Bergblick bietet. Es gibt Parkplätze für drei Fahrzeuge auf dem neu ausgebauten Parkplatz vor dem Haus sowie Parkplätze hinter dem Haus in der Tyro Lane.
Es gibt zwei komplett umgestaltete Vollbäder, eines davon enthält eine gestapelte Frontlader-Waschmaschine und einen Trockner mit hohem Wirkungsgrad in voller Größe. Die Gourmetküche ist geräumig und hell und verfügt über Herd, Dunstabzugshaube, Kühlschrank mit Eis- / Wasserspender, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler und Entsorgung. Es gibt ein vollständiges Set an Geschirr, Utensilien und Gläsern für 6 Gäste.

A well acquainted and great weekend place...not as easy as imagined to get onto the slope (have to walk down a steep hill and back up) but manageable. Excellent renovations and cozy,

The house is clean and just as described online. The beds were comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the heated floors in the bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. We loved how close the home was to all the restaurants and slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great and very well maintained. It's right next to the Tyro slope (Blue) so if you're a skier then I definitely recommend it. Heated floors in the bathroom were a very pleasant surprise :)

This property was the best furnished that I've ever experienced from VRBO. The property was exceptionally clean, provided a fully stocked kitchen, ample linens and a beautiful location and convenient to the resort. We had a great winter weather week and got to enjoy skiing and tubing at the resort. The property is a short walk and shorter drive to the amenities at Wintergreen and truly a great getaway. Thank you for a beautiful property and we will be back!

Clean, adorable, perfect accommodations. It truly was a perfect time. Since we’re all schoolteachers, we chose to book over Thanksgiving Break, and took all the fixings to make our Thanksgiving meal… I’ve never stayed in a getaway property with SUCH A WELL-STOCKED KITCHEN!! Adequate casserole dishes, meat thermometer, tongs, measuring spoons and cups, insulated tumblers, various ziplock and aluminum foils, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better space to feast and rest! Many breweries and restaurants close, adorable market within walking distance, supremely dog-friendly community. Thank you for a wonderful week!

We only stayed for the weekend but wish we stayed longer. It was centrally located. Close to all hiking trails, wineries and breweries. It had all the comforts of home plus extras. We would definitely definitely talk stay gain. Thank you!

The Chalet was great. It reminded us of being in Paris. We loved the Ikea furniture, the heated floor and the hot tub. It was also nice to have an air controlled unit in each room. It was nice and cozy with great views.

The home is very nice and cozy. We liked the home very much. The fireplace was very efficient. Bathrooms were very clean and nice. Parking was sufficient and easy to get in and out of. Unfortunately there was no snow on the nearest slope which meant you could not ski in ski out. The biggest issue really was the mattress was soo hard we barely got any sleep.
Overall it was a very nice place but the beds need to be upgraded.

Very nice property, really well organized and great location. We had a total of 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids between the ages of 12 and 16). It’s not a ton of square footage but the layout is very practical and worked just fine. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great stay! We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house is just a 5 minute walk from a beautiful overlook- so pretty in the fall with all the changing leaves. The house was perfect for our small group. We LOVED the heated bathroom floors. The only thing I would say (and we knew going in from reading other reviews) was that it is not very toddler friendly. With just our 1 child, it was fine because we watched him closely but would be tough if you have multiple little ones. Would definitely stay here again!

House was beautiful with a great location. Laundry was not done, hot tub was filthy and streaming service was iffy. Called property manager to get hot tub cleaned and he never returned our call. It would be a 5 star rating if not for housekeeping

A little misleading but a good property
Overall a great property. Stayed here with my two teenagers hoping for snow. No snow but still had a great time.. Pros: remodeled, heated bath floors, spa, roku, internet. Cons: location, heaters are a bit tricky, communication, and not a good property for toddlers. Unless tyro runs are open in the winter it is not walking distance to the slopes. This is a little misleading in the description. IMO I would not bring small children for the lack of space and steep stairs. Very clean unit but no paper products or utensils provided. When I asked the owner, was told that’s in the listing and usually starter toilet paper is provided. No big deal we bought our own. Minor inconvenience. Texted using number in vrbo, no response. Texted via vrbo got a response in a few hours. House is warm if you turn the heaters up to 76.

Relaxing getaway
Such a lovely property! We really enjoyed our stay relaxing by the fire most of the time. Everything was very clean, and the house had everything we required. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice bonus, and the wood stove was very warm. The neighborhood is great, and very centrally located. The property is close enough to the slopes that we woke up to a dusting of artificial snow one morning! We look forward to visiting again!

Excellent home - plan to stay again
Property was amazing. Exactly as pictures appear. We were greeted one morning by a huge buck walking by the window while we had our coffee. Clean clean clean!! Every type of kitchen equipment (high end) and cooking utensils and flatware. Fresh linens and great water pressure. The heated bathroom floors were a huge hit and appreciated.

Amazing spot, highly recommend!
I stayed in late October and it was honestly the perfect time of year in my opinion - great hiking conditions, gets cold enough in the evenings to enjoy the hot tub and *heated* bathroom floors, but no need to use the wood stove yet - or heat at all, honestly. I live in a studio apt in DC so a nice kitchen was something I really wanted and this one definitely checked the box! The hidden utensil drawers are in both of the top drawers (sink and stove side) - not just one, like I initially thought. I enjoyed cooking there so much I never went out to eat during my stay. I wish I'd re-read the other reviews before packing and realized I needed to bring my own toilet paper and paper towels but the little store is less than a minutes drive away. Highly recommend The Plunge Hike that's very close to the property - not for small kids or animals and a bit strenuous but SO worth it. I did have a bit of difficulty finding the property - I easily found the address the owners reference in the photo about google maps being wrong but failed to recognize that the property is directly across the street from that address. So happy to have found this gem - would love to stay again in the future. Truly everything I was looking for and I'm so appreciative they allow dogs - my apt dwelling pup absolutely loved laying out on the deck and the fenced in property. She's older and really couldn't do the inside stairs but we walked around to the screened in porch each night/morning giving her a bedtime/am potty break in the process. Don't hesitate to stay here!
