Bed, no ac in the bedroom, tons of mosquitoes and we still had to open the window because we were melting inside

We really liked the place, we could prepare meals and eat in the garden, which was an attraction itself. It was clean and the hosts were friendly.

The shower

The facilities within this apartment are of low standard. I see no value to the money I paid.. I attempted to cook multiple times, both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor kitchens very poor and one did not work, whereas the other one wouldn't hold a flame due because very windy. The single electric hot plate in the kitchen didn't have instruction for use and was only one ring, making meals difficult to cook at once. I had to call Ms. Giovanna did indeed arrive promptly to help and walkthrough how to use it. I found the bed very hard and the pillows too soft. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place as there is a lot of things to be improved.

The location was very central. It was easy to access the beach and visit the town of Cefalu. The host was also very responsive and easy to contact!

There was a lot of humidity unfortunately, and there was an issue with the hot water in the shower. It seemed that the hot water in the shower only worked when we turned on the kitchen faucet to hot water.

Came with free parking, a hot plate and fridge, and the bedroom was separate. There was also what seemed like a pleasant hostel-esque outdoor communal area which we unfortunately couldn’t take advantage of due to social distancing restrictions. The property is a walkable distance from the very lovely beach, and there are many good restaurants in the town centre, also not far away.

The tap water was not drinkable, and no bottled water was provided. This caught us by surprise and we had to drive to find a supermarket to buy several large bottles on the afternoon we arrived, which was not ideal. The host suggested we boiled tap water on the hot plate and waited for it to cool before drinking, but this wasn’t exactly practical. Also, at time of writing, the nearby national park is closed until 2021 at the earliest due to forest fires in the area.
