Dieses charmante und geräumige Haus in der 2. Reihe bietet allen Komfort von zu Hause und eine entsprechende Aussicht. Die überdachte Veranda mit Wippen und Segelflugzeug bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht auf das Meer und die überdachte Veranda verfügt über einen Ess- und Sitzbereich mit Blick auf den Kanal und die Wasserstraße. Es gibt auch ein Deck im Hof, in der Nähe des Kanals. (Bitte beachten Sie, dass von unserem Grundstück aus kein direkter Zugang zum Kanal besteht.) Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Geschirrspüler, Mixer usw. Es gibt eine zentrale Klimaanlage und Heizung. In allen Schlafzimmern gibt es Deckenventilatoren. Es gibt auch 3 Fernseher, DVD / VCR, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Holzkohlegrill, gepflasterte Parkplätze, eine Außendusche mit heißem Wasser, überdachte Eingänge und WI-FI. Das Schlafzimmer ist wie folgt eingerichtet:
Schlafzimmer 1: 2 Zwillinge, Schlafzimmer 2: 1 Queen und 1 Twin, Schlafzimmer 3: 1 Double und 1 Twin Schlafzimmer 4: 1 Queen. Der Zugang zum Strand ist etwa eineinhalb Häuserblocks vom Haus entfernt und der Angelpier ist etwa 2 Blocks entfernt.

Our entire family was able to stay here comfortably. We had 8 adults - 3 couples and 2 singles. I enjoyed the front and back porches/decks and would sit outside every morning to enjoy my coffee. Susy was very easy to work with and her communication was wonderful - from check-in and check-out procedures to letting us know about restaurants and events happening on the island. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time!!! Very relaxing, great view and accommodations were wonderful!! The walk to the beach is two streets over and it was helpful to have the outside shower to rinse off before going inside. My one big rule whenever we rent a house is the "SAND"..... I don't want to sleep in it so I'm constantly sweeping!!!! Over the bridge has awesome ice cream places and some restaurants that we loved!!! You will love this place if you rent it!

The homeowner was exceptional. This property is exactly as described and was perfect for our group (4 adults and two toddlers). If you're anything like our family, comfort, location, and a kitchen stocked with needed tools are the most important parts of a trip. We were all very happy with our stay and will likely be back to Gimme Shelter in the future.

This was our very first time using VRBO and we could not have had a better experience than what we did. The home was very clean and had everything that we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. The process from the very beginning of expressing interest all the way to the checkout process was very simple and very much appreciated being a first time renter. The owner was incredibly nice and available for any questions throughout the days leading up to our vacation as well as the stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone for all the reasons above plus some!

We vacation at Holden Beach every summer. Our family tradition has been going on for decades. This was one of the very best places! We had a beautiful view of the canal & the ocean! The interior is beautiful, spacious & very well equipped. My favorite thing about this place is the outdoor hangouts! The front porch has 2, the back porch 2 & downstairs has 3 where we enjoyed hvg coffee, breakfast, appetizers, cocktails etc. It was just like the photos. Susy could not hv been more helpful & quick to respond. We wd definitely rent it again…

End of Summer Beach Trip
Gimme Shelter was the perfect place to spend our annual end of summer beach trip with friends and family. the host was very responsive and friendly. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds. The open floor plan in kitchen/dining/living room makes it easy for a crowd to spread out and enjoy meals, games and TV. There is plenty of parking and space underneath the house and in the driveway to accommodate multiple cars and still have room to play corn hole, relax and store beach items at end of the day. The front porch offers nice views of the ocean and good people watching too. The back porch provides a more private relaxing quiet view of the canal with great sunrise and sunset views. Quick walk across street to beach front. And the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities for meals and drinks. Bonus there are lots of games and puzzles for rainy days and nights in. TV, internet and air all worked great and there were even box fans for those who need white noise to sleep! Would definitely consider staying again!

Wonderful experience!
This was my first time at Holden Beach. The house was in order and provided great accommodation for my family. My favorite place was the front porch with a view of the ocean and an ever-present breeze. Perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee. I hope to have an opportunity to return soon

The house was spacious and clean.
Very comfortable for our family of 5 and could easily have shared it with another (perhaps smaller) family. The beach chairs and cart were a nice addition with lots of puzzles and books to entertain the kids. The Wifi worked great even on the rainy day when my son and I played on the Xbox (which we brought) and two others were watching Netflix on different devices.

Good location, poor air condition got up to 80 plus degrees in afternoon and evening, some beds very uncomfortable, too many “whicky wacks” everywhere.

Very Relaxing and Great Views
My family and I had a fantastic stay at Gimme Shelter. The house was plenty big and had fantastic views from the front and back porches. Lucky for us the lot across the street has not been developed so for the second row price you get a front row view. I may have brought my whole kitchen down with me, but I did not need to because the kitchen was well stocked. I grew up coming to Holden Beach to visit my grandparents who lived there full time and this house gave me that comfortable and nostalgic feeling I was looking for. Thanks again!
