Amazing house and great location

Wonderfully sympathetic conversion of a historic building into a lovely comfortable house with glorious views.

We hired the Oast for a family get-together to celebrate a significant birthday. It was absolutely ideal, with good sized bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms (the showers in particular are worth a mention). The private garden was perfect for relaxing, with the sights and sounds (baa!) of the adjacent sheep farm. It’s a short drive to the seaside or into the countryside for walks. I would delighted to recommend it.

Quite with a view. Great local pub within walking distance. Building and contents was to a high standard. Would recommend. But remember to take basics such as salt and pepper.

We stayed here as a group of friends for New Years. The property is exactly as in the photos, and even had a fantastic Christmas tree set up which was a welcome surprise. The rooms are spacious and complete to a high standard, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had a food shop delivered and they had no problem finding us. The property was also very warm, so we hardly needed the fire. There are good walks and pubs nearby, and the coast isn't far away at all. Some of the spotlights need replacing as they were flickering (and the switches could do with labelling - as there are a lot!), but other than that no complaints at all.

Our family stayed here for a week over Christmas. The house was a great size for us, and we had everything we needed. The host did a great job decorating for Christmas, so it felt extra special. Views from the house are beautiful, and there is a footpath running through the property so it’s a great area to do some country walls. Thanks to the host for great communication and a pleasant stay.

We had the best time. The Oast was stunning, tastefully restored, very clean and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do nearby and Rye is a delight. We would truly love to return.

Lovely Oast House in beautiful countryside. Well equipped, very comfortable and they even managed to arrange a mini heatwave when we were there!!

Fantastic property in rural location with beautiful walks, nature and for us weather. The Oast was immaculate and suited our family perfectly to celebrate a 16th and 80th birthday. The beautiful fresh flowers were much appreciated along with the basket of welcome goodies. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for a large group and wonderful seating inside and out. It is spacious and allows privacy for all with 4 bathrooms. We wished we could have stayed longer. Many thanks.

We had a long weekend with my daughter, husband and 4 year old twins and Joanna was superb from the initial booking, right through to departure. We felt completely Covid safe. The Oast house is lovely and has everything you could possibly need including stunning views. It is bright, spacious with lovely features making it really special. Although the Oast House is near to the owner's own house, there is absolutely no issue with privacy. Not once did we feel overlooked. This is a really special place.

For a spacious and wonderful property in a charming, peaceful and relaxing location this was undoubtably the place to go. Enjoyed by all three generations of us.

Hare farm is absolutely lovely. Spacious, spotless, beautifully refurbished and full of character. The setting is also fabulous, with great views and walks from the door. And a generous basket of goodies on arrival. We very much hope to return!

Amazing memories created!! Stayed here for my mums 60th birthday! Prior to arriving, Joanna couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating with any questions and requests we had. When we arrived, the house and location was stunning, my mum was so overwhelmed. When we got inside, it just got better and better. It was immaculate inside and little touches like the games, books and welcome hamper were so thoughtful, and made a big difference. The kids referred to it as a mansion and it was so spacious enough for all the family to relax. The beds and the baths as well were perfect, and again and so big. We were close enough to have a day trip to Rye, as well as a Sunday roast at the local pub. Joanna even recommended getting a beauty treatment at the house, which we did, which was wonderful. Overall everyone loved the house, the location and the thoughtful service Joanna gave. In fact we are already talking about coming back again some time, thanks for the memories x

This property is perfect for large families and large groups. Property was clean and tidy on arrival with a welcome basket full of goods, a great touch. We can’t complain, we really enjoyed our stay here.

The Oast House was absolutely delightful and surpassed all our expectations. The location is great for visiting Rye, Battle, Hastings, Camber Sands and even Brighton. Kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of crockery & glasses. The underfloor heating was lovely; lots of cozy evenings in. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hare Farm & hope to come back soon. I stayed in the Oast for my 50th birthday with a group of friends. It was the perfect setting for this occasion. The Oast is beautiful and immaculately presented. A real home from home. The little welcome basket is a lovely touch too. Set on a working farm the scenery around is gorgeous. Go ahead and book, you won't be disappointed!
