Medieval feel, but modern and beautifully located.

The tv would turn off in the middle of the film. Timer? Overloaded reseau?

From the start to the end it was like a fairly tale. The pictures do not prepared you for the ambiance and enchanting views as well as the quaint touches at the property from outdoor seating areas to your own indoor fireplace that lights up the stone walled room. The little windows make it into the cosiest of nests but also wake you up gently as the sun rises. Switzerland is a beautiful country but the chateau was our highlight of the holiday.

We liked the history of the Chateau, the views from the main courtyard, the historic doors and windows .The fireplace added charm to the room.

There were spiders in the bathroom. The grounds appeared to need some attention. The kitchen garbage can needed a good clean. Texts sent through the same site weren't always received by staff. The directions to the Chateau appeared vague to this English speaker.

The location, the views and overall experience are just amazing! Intimate atmosphere for a perfect (romantic!) stay.

The view from outside next to the wall is outstanding!! We ate some dinners sitting on the wall soaking in the view. The space was large so you could spread out.

Kitchen very tiny. Didn’t have microwave as advertised when we arrived but corrected a day later, which left NO counter space. Had a problem with ants in kitchen but they brought traps at end of next day. Washer/dryer: you use same ones used by complex, half of machines were broken so there was a long wait to use but they were free. 😕 My bad, I expected a location with a reception area etc. The castle is basically an apartment complex with a few rented short-term to tourists. The personnel there were very nice though.

There was no breakfast included. We bought our own breakfast the evening before but had a lovely terrace to eat our breakfast.

1. The idea of staying in the Chateau is awesome 2. Good location. Renovated room with the exterior of the old Chateau. Beautiful view of the mountains and lake and winery 3. Not too many guests. Still have privacy in the shared area 4. The room we chose has a big TV All pictures and view lure us to book with this property. We didn't know that we will be staying at the place at our own risks.

1. On arrival the host arrive late 2. The boiler system was broken. We spoke earlier that day but wasn't told of the issue otherwise we could have gone elsewhere for a night. Hence no heater and no hot water. The host promised it will be fixed in the morning 9-10 am top. He told us that every room has same issue 3. We were given one small heater but it was still cold. So we plug in our portable fan heater and the electricity got cut. (We used it elsewhere before and it was fine. It was a small heater fan). We can't use several devices at the same time like if we use heater, we cannot use stove and microwave, etc. otherwise the electricity will get cut. It took 45-50 mins to fix it. The electricity got cut a few times during our stay and it took nearly 1 hour to get it back. We stayed in fear for 5 nights 4. The second day 10am the boiler system isn't fixed as promised, the host said need 1 more hour. We have lunch reservation so we wait until 11am and still not fixed so we get our business done in a freezing room and freezing water. We came back 2pm the host said it's fixed and the system is warming up but it wasn't. And 3pm and 4pm same story. At 5pm he no longer answering our phone call and WhatsApp. We have to contact booking.com for help and we wait 1 hour before we were told that we can move to another room for a night. So at 6pm we move. But I mean we have to pack and repack, and then the next morning we have to pack and move back? We asked if we can stay in the other room until we check out (3 more nights), the host said No (although it's available) 5. There are some rooms that function properly but the host didn't let us move since the first night. He said all the same issue. But apparently there are rooms with heater and hot water but instead of moving us, he let us suffer. I guess that the new room is bigger and more expensive what the room we originally booked, they just want to maximize profit and let guests suffer.
