Great being able to stay in the centre of Corniglia, sunny terrace and thankful I had my bag carried up the stairs for me.

Vi valde ett rum med sjöutsikt och balkong i huset som ligger långt ifrån klocktornet. Rekommenderar det verkligen! Väldigt fint och fräscht rum, modernt, fantastisk utsikt och underbart att äta tricoloremackor till frukost på balkongen. Värdarna var otroligt gästvänliga. Boendet ligger nära vandringslederna. Bra mat på hotellets restaurang och 10% rabatt på maten om man bor där. Corniglia är en otroligt mysig stad/by att bo i, massor av smala, trånga gränder och gamla hus, bra restauranger, fina vyer och den lugnaste staden av de fem byarna. Perfekt att utgå härifrån om man planerar att vandra mellan byarna. Vi sov första natten i ett rum i huset precis bredvid klocktornet då det var nåt problem med toaletten i det rum vi bokat. Man stördes rätt mycket av klockan som ringde 3 ggr i timmen dygnet runt - två gånger vid heltimme (kl. 7 ringde den 7 ggr med ca 2 minuters mellanrum osv) och en gång vid halvtimme (ett slag). Rekommenderar att välja huset längre ifrån klocktornet om man är rädd om sin skönhetssömn. Rummet nära klocktornet var också av längre standard, inte lika modernt men ändå mysigt.

Svårt att hitta något vi inte är nöjda med. Sängen var ganska hård. Städarna började vid ca kl. 8.30 och väsnades ganska mycket - pratade högt, smällde i dörrar osv, lät som de var inne i ens rum när de städade andra rum. Knackade på vid kl. 9.30-10 och frågade om man ville ha det städat. Störde oss inte så mycket då vi var ganska tidigt i farten för att vandra, men kan vara bra att känna till.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war zentral, gut und schnell zu erreichen. Im Restaurant gab es 10% Ermäßigung, da wir ein Gästezimmer gemietet hatten. Wir hatten im Vorfeld die Preise verschiedener Unterkünfte in Corniglia verglichen. Alle anderen Unterkünfte waren deutlich teurer, deshalb fiel unsere Wahl auf Cecio 5 Terre Rooms. Es gab nur eine große Gemeinschaftsterasse für alle 5 Zimmer unseres separaten Gebäudes. Das war jedoch OK, da jedes Mal wenn wir sie nutzten, wir die einzigen waren, die dies taten. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft im Vergleich zu anderen in Corniglia preisgünstig, aber dennoch überteuert.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon in einem separaten Gebäude gemietet. Der Balkon war jedoch eine große Gemeinschaftsterasse für 5 Zimmer. Unser Zimmer war klein und eng, die Möbel sehr einfach und schlecht bzw. laut schließend. Eine Halterung der Toilettenbrille war abgebrochen. Als wir das reklamierten, wurde die Brille komplett abgebaut, so dass wir dann auf dem nackten Porzellan sitzen durften. Wenn andere Zimmertüren auf unserem Flur geöffnet oder geschlossen wurden, klapperte jedesmal unsere Zimmertür, so dass wir Papier in den Türrahmen stecken mussten um nicht von den Türgeräuschen geweckt zu werden. Außer dünnen Handtüchern, Duschgel, Seife und einem (!) Trinkglas, gab es keine Ausstattung im Zimmer (wie z.B. Wasserkocher o.ä.)

Good location and nice view from the rooms. Unfortunately the accommodation for other members of the family was down in the centre of the village and they found this very noisy and very different to the rooms in the main hotel. We chose to eat at the hotel and it was a lovely meal with very good service.

We loved how friendly the staff was and the view from our room. The room was clean and has AC. It was easy to get to once you get into the town. We ate at the restaurant they also own and the food was great.

The pillows were pretty flat, but after a long day of hiking it didn’t bother us too much.

Tiny bathroom. No bathroom mirror. Awkward entry/exit due to external gate lock. Based on xpected a room at the Cecio5 main hotel/restaurant...felt like "bait and switch"

Nice view , overlooking Corniglia and the sea . Very clean . Comfy bed and pillows. Extra blankets provided . Good size room, not cluttered with furniture. Restaurant downstairs is convenience. Overall good value for the money. Will recommend for couples .

Great location, owner lovely, spotlessly clean, their cafe in another street was very good

No tea or coffee making facility, the room is quite a walk from their restaurant and so a kettle would have been good. No TV.

Great location right in the centre. Lovely to have our own terrace! Exceptionally clean. The restaurant was very friendly and nice food.

Only very small comment - a holder for the toilet roll would be a good idea!

Everything! The views from the balcony were stunning. Nice decor and lovely bathroom (great shower). Very clean everywhere. Easy friendly check in.

View from the window in our room was gorgeous, loved being able to look out onto the ocean. Bathroom seemed newly renovated and was nice. The rooms are very reasonably priced and were exactly what we expected for what we had paid. Village is really quiet compared to the others so good option if you want to see Cinque Terre but stay somewhere quieter.

Check in process was interesting and a bit confusing, but kind of made it a fun adventure I guess. Bed was very uncomfortable. You are offered a discount to the restaurant connected but it was full when we tried to eat there so we weren't able to utilize this. From the photos we thought the hotel was on the water, but the village is on a cliff so I guess that's our fault for not googling that beforehand.

Amazing location. Chose corniglia so we could hike to 2 other towns one day and the other 2 the next. Right in the main square close to everything. The owner has a restaurant with the same name 2 minute walk from the Bnb we ate there 3 nights as it was amazing food and great price with a discount for being at the bnb.

Amazing location, just steps away from the centre of Corniglia. It has a terrace with a great view to the sea. The room was ok: it was clean, the bathroom looked newly remodelled and it had air conditioning.

The overall things are ok but there’s no attention to detail: the pillows are completely flat, there was only a blanket (although it’s summer, I prefer to sleep with an extra blanket and there was nothing there), there was only 1 towel per person and one for the bathroom floor (no extra towel to shower, wash hands, etc) and the towels weren’t of towel material, rather a normal and really thin cloth. In the bathroom there’s no place for the toilet paper, no place to put your stuff when you shower… Also the walls are super thin and we could hear our neighbour’s phone chiming and their snoring! As regards the check in, even though we knew that it was closed from 15:30 to 18:30 we still think it would be great to think of a solution… self check in and leaving the instructions by phone or something. We enjoyed our stay anyways because we were only there to sleep but I feel there’s a lot of room for improvement
