Zé Maria is a very warm, comfortable and beautiful hotel and offers a very sophisticated cuisine. It’s staff are very kind and ready to help you in everything .

We loved the work of two people namely Ronaldo a superb employee working at the pool area and Jean an administrative with concierge-like role both always eager to assist in whatever need we had
Room was located too far down the pool area and the access to it were covered by a layer of mud caused by spill over from heavy rain. I asked thrice to have this removed for no avail

The first impression is the location and the view while going to the your room. Rooms were very comfortable with an understated decoration with some brasilian motif but with some maintenance issues that I would connect with the fact that the inn was closed during the pandemic (I arrived about a week after reopening of the island). Beautiful pool.
With the lunch was not available due to the reopening conditions but at least a snack would have been good. My shower did not work correctly. And the dinner menu was limited.
