The cottage was perfectly situated in the village which has some brilliant little shops and fabulous places to eat.

Great location with a unique parking space (enough for 2 cars with a squeeze) at the front. The property was clean and well kitted out. Only 1-2 mins walk to the harbour front. The owner was also quick to respond to a query and was helpful. Overall I’d recommend.

Fabulous cottage, cosy and well equipped, boasting invaluable parking space it provides a fantastic base for exploring this part of Cornwall. Lovely touches from the hosts and great communication from them from day 1, will definitely stay again.

Property was very well equipped. My only real disappointment was the absence of recycling.

Superb holiday home. Really well equipt with everything you could possibly need and more!! The property is thoughtfully decorated with some lovely personal touches. Very comfortable beds. Perfect size for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog!! The house is in a perfect location with the bonus of parking. We cant wait to return!

Great place for a family holiday Perfect for the harbour shops and restaurants in the centre of Mousehole. Very useful to have a parking spot too.

Property well located to enjoy all Mousehole has to offer. We were blessed with amazing weather and enjoyed several trips locally. The local deli was fabulous and does the best flat whites and pastries.

The property was perfect for our holiday this year, close to local amenities, with a parking space and an ideal spot for visiting other local areas. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable - and felt good coming back to after a day out exploring! Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was perfect for our 4-night stay in Mousehole in mid-October. It is very well furnished and equipped and had been meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival. There is a private parking space in front of the cottage and it is located on a quiet lane about a minute’s walk from the harbour. We had delightful dinners on 2 nights at ‘2 Fore Street’, which is about 90 seconds walk away which we strongly recommend. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Old Exchange cottage and it will be our preferred location for future holiday breaks in West Cornwall.

Lovely property in the villages' old telephone exchange. Great location a 90 second walk from the harbour. Parking is a real bonus but don't bring a big big car or it gets a bit tight. I would advice reversing up the lane and then parking forward into the space. This seems to give you the right angle to get out easily with one movement! In terms of the actual property... lovely and clean. Proper living area with comfy sofas and TV. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Big comfy bed and adjoining bathroom. Fantastic hosts. Very friendly, accommodating and communicative. Great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Here are our favourites: Mousehole - Old Coastguards and 2 Fore Street for dinner. The Crab Soufflé at 2 Fore Street was incredible! Penzance - The Mexico Inn - great little bistro pub, cool back story, great food We flew to the Scilly Isles for the day. Incredible and well worth it when the weather is good!

We had a lovely week at the Old Exchange. It is right in the heart of Mousehole a couple of streets back from the harbour. It takes about 45 seconds to walk to the front! A car parking space is a godsend too. The house is beautifully decorated and has a really homely feel. The kitchen is really well equipped - more like what you would have at home than a basic holiday rental set of equipment so if you like cooling everything is there. Mousehole is a great spot to stay - awesome views to St Michael’s Mount and close to lots of places a beaches. Highlights for us were Gwynver beach (dog friendly) and Geevor Tin mine - definitely well worth a visit. We’d definitely consider coming back again.

Well-equipped, comfortable and a quick stroll from the lovely harbour of Mousehole. Highly recommended. Plenty of on for four, and you can park two cars by the bungalow as long as one is not too big! Mousehole is a great base for exploring Lands End, St. Ives and the Lizard. There are also a couple of good local pubs.

The Old Exchange was perfect for our needs for a short break with our two dogs. Inside it felt spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi and smart TV worked faultlessly. We were particularly pleased to find that the kitchen was so well equipped, and not just containing the bare minimum of utensils and pots and pans that is so often the case in holiday lets. The parking space for a car was, for us, essential and a rarity in Mousehole. The only point that could have been made clearer on the web site is the lack of a mobile phone signal, not just at the cottage but seemingly also for much of Mousehole - hence the provision of a landline for emergencies.

This wonderfully comfortable holiday cottage in the picturesque Cornish village of Mousehole is the perfect base to explore western Cornwall. The cottage is equiped with everything that you might need, including plentiful information and advice on what to do and where to go, eat and sight-see. We were fortunate enough to have 8 days of glorious sunshine in which to explore Mousehole and immediate surrounds on foot including walks along the coastal path to Lamorna, Paul, Newlyn and Penzance. We also visited St Ives, Lands End, Minack and Sedden.

Quaint, cozy, filled with light. An easy 2 minute stroll to the harbor. Terrific linens. Great stove and a marvelous array of cooking utensils and equipment. Steps up to the front door a bit of a challenge for my husband who has balance issues.

Again this location provided a good base and the parking space was invaluable as, with the lights and the fireworks, Mousehole is very busy over New Year. The cottage is well equipped, with plenty of light and space. In the colder weather it would be good to take a pair of slippers as the tiled floor areas can be chilly underfoot! We really enjoyed making use of the log burner this time around and appreciated the logs provided! The owner is really helpful and full of advice for things that are going on in Mousehole.
