Yet again thus Villa was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, the pool area is fantastic, it’s a short walk to the beach and Old Town, and we had a great time yet again. The property owner Andre was superb and arranged everything we wanted. We can’t wait to come back, just exceptional.

We spent 10 days at the villa and overall it was satisfactory. We are a family of 9 and enjoyed quite a few days in and around the pool which was a really good size. Although the villa was a bit dated it was still adequate, there were some small issues like only 3 sun beds and only 2 beer glasses and no wine glasses but a quick message to Andre and it was sorted. The view from the villa is pretty good to, a perfect location for the old town and the Marina only about a 10-15 minute walk.

It was a great property for a large group as there is plenty of space , only a few minor hiccups like noisy neighbours, for most of the 2 weeks woke us up early hours with loud music screaming and shouting, but it wouldn’t stop us going to the property again as it was just bad luck. Also we never got the villa cleaned in the whole 2 weeks the cleaner just changed beds and towels, so my party had to do the cleaning which was a little disappointing. As we paid a lot of money to stay there. Andre was very good when we had problems so couldn’t fault him at all. He was always on top of the problems. Great location only 10 mins walk to beach and old town. 5 mins walk to Marina. To the main strip you would need to get taxi. But it wasn’t a problem at all. Weather was gorgeous very hot 🥵 If I had to criticise the villa it does need updating in places like 1. the oven needs to be bigger to accommodate large groups, took ages for my party of 14. 2. Fridge freezers need to be bigger 3. Needs to have more sun loungers as there was only 6 at property. 4. All the beds need updating wasn’t comfortable at all. 5. Overall it could do with modernising inside the property. We had a great time would definitely come back. Thank you so much Andre for all your help.

It was a wonderful and spacious house. The contact with the owner was really good. Andre was very informative and helpful. Very comforting in this difficult period.

We ( 8 ladies) stayed at Villa Ramos to celebrate my 50th bday , the villa is so spacious and an added bonus we were not expecting - was the reviews said no direct access from house to the pool but there are now stairs inside the house to the lower floor , out to the terrace and pool. The step into the pool is deep so for shorter guests this could be an issue but although the pool area is tired and could do with some TLC, it was a great area to relax. Some new sun loungers and a few umbrellas would be welcomed. It would also be nice to have a table and chairs outside by the pool area rather than inside. The views from the villa were great and in the evening watching the sunset was simply stunning from the top balcony. The kitchen is large and has some equipment but could do with a restock - fine for us as we ate out every night. Bedrooms were all a good size and 3 doubles on the top floor have air-con, triple room on middle floor and 4 bedded room downstairs have fans, which were great. There is a great supermarket approx 7 mins walk ( straight across at the roundabout) which had lots of choice. The old town was a 15 min walk - slightly hilly walking back up - but not to bad. Andre answered questioned quickly and he arranged transport to the villa and return to the airport which was great and one less thing for us to worry about. The villa was great value and gave us a great base for the 5 nights we stayed. Thank you Andre.

Property was amazing, absolutely loads of space, excellently sized swimming pool and had both a full size pool table and ping pong. The surprise of a bar and option to purchase a keg of beer was the cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend and would definitely return in the future. Andre even let us check in early which was very much appreciated!

We stayed at the Villa for three nights and the photos do not do this Villas justice as it is stunning both inside and out. The pool area is fantastic and the location is only a 10 min stroll into the Old Town and superb beech. The owner Andre was very helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly before we travelled, and as our flight was early he was in hand to allow us in to the Villa. Everyone had a great time and I would definitely return in the future.

Amazing stay very happy!!!

Total amazing villa, Andre cannot do enough to help you throughout your stay. the villa is stunning in a fab location. Was that beautiful after 10 minutes of being in the Villa I booked for next year.

We are a group of 7 ladies aged 55+ and this was our first time to Albuferia. The weather was particularly hot for Sept. The Villa was spacious and clean and of traditional styling. The location was very nice, residential and quiet, but be warned it is up a steep incline/hilly and quite a walk to the old town- at least 15 minutes, so any mobility problems you will need taxi's, which were good and reasonably cheap about 7 Euros. There is modern air con in the upstairs bedrooms, but fans were around downstairs too. Rooms were spacious , plenty of wardrobe space .The pool is down several steps and needs some TLC, as do the sunbeds, no umbrellas to use. Handy downstairs loo and shower, but a strange configuration as no access to the house from the pool, so had to lock the doors all the time. The little marina could be seen from the Villa but again a long steep walk, a few places to eat, a SPAR, and pick up for boat trips- to be honest not worth the effort of the long walk. About 5 minutes down the hill was a little supermarket with plenty of stock, and a brilliant bar- Artebar- very friendly atmosphere and lovely strong Sangria ! football on the TV, singers and quiz nights made it an excellent local alternative.The pub worked well in conjunction with Saffron Indian Restaurant- lovely food and service. We had some plumbing problems but I just e mailed Andre and he was quick to respond and made sure they were sorted out quickly. It was absolutely brilliant that he arranged our transfers too. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay.

Family holiday with 6 adults 1 teenager and 2 kids we had a great time and everything there for the kids to play all day.

The villa was outstanding.It had everything you needed to have a wonderful holiday.If there was one thing I could maybe change then it would be the pool filters were not very good .but that aside everything else was excellent.

Absolutely perfect! The villa is so lovely- it’s absolutely huge. Plenty of room for us 11 girls. The pictures don’t do it justice. The location is great- you can walk to the old town in about 10 mins and the supermarket is 5 mins away. Uber cabs are also very cheap and easy to get out there- we used them quite a lot when venturing further out ( to the strip and oura beach). We were able to drop our bags off at the villa before our check in time which we really appreciated! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

My husband & 9 friends stayed for four nights 10th-14th July for birthday celebrations. Andre Ramos (owner) was very responsive to our emails, he arranged transport from the airport to the villa & back. This was efficient & good value transport. They were allowed to leave their luggage at the villa (they arrived early morning) until the villa was cleaned & ready for them at 2pm. All of the villa & facilities were clean & maintained. The location for the Marina & old town was excellent (a bit hilly), but made for lovely walks. Bars & restaurants near by were friendly & bustling. We would definitely recommend Villa Ramos.

The property was beautifully situated and is well equipped. We loved the decor and the kitchen was very spacious. The host thoughtfully supplies us with some bread, eggs, butter, wine, milk, coffee and tea. But it was easy to also go to the supermarket nearby. We can see the Albufeira colourful marina from the back windows and a little bit of the Atlantic Ocean too. We were fortunate to be in Albufeira during nice weather (cooler than usual) so for the most part, the temperature is manageable. Only the upper 3 bedrooms have air conditioning. The lower bedroom’s window would not open. We were uncomfortable at night because we couldn’t use the upper bedroom. We stayed in the ground floor bedroom to avoid the stairs. Lightbulbs didn’t fully function and owner wasn’t able to address them during our short stay. Difficult to shave with no vanity lights for example. Had to switch bedside lamps with that placed in an unused bedroom. If we had had a full house, not everyone would have had a good experience. But overall, it’s s great property

Recently enjoyed a short break at this lovely villa. It is in a nice quiet location for relaxing by the pool during the day. Just a short walk to supermarket, bars and a little further down the road to the old town or marina area. Perfect for our group of 10 ladies celebrating a birthday. Thank you Andre.

Had a wonderful holiday in Villa Ramos. The villa was in a great location with wonderful views set on a quiet road. Villa was very well equipped and had stunning views. We had some problems with the power tripping, probably due to the cold weather and the heaters being switched on, Andre was very helpful though and always contactable and had the electrician come out the reconnect the power, would have been 5 star if not for the power issues.

Came here for a week long trip before my sister's wedding, 9 of us in total of mixed ages. The villa is fantastic, so much space that the pictures really don't do it justice. The pool area catches the sun all day long, with plenty of sun loungers for everyone and tables and chairs on the different balconies and sun terraces on different levels. Kitchen is huge and really well stocked with all the cooking implements needed for the days and nights staying in. Pizza oven and BBQ outside, again with more outdoor seating and tables, made a lovely suntrap for eating breakfast outside each morning. Fresh lemons on the lemon tree too. The log burning fire inside in the living room was lovely on one of colder evenings of our stay, and stocked with wood to go on it. Really appreciated the welcome package left for us, the basics of milk, bread, tea coffee, water and wine for our arrival. Bedrooms and bathrooms are really good sizes and didn't feel like we where on top of each other. Old town is about a 15 min walk, down hill, but there is a supermarket shop, bar and Indian restaurant less than 10 mins walk from the villa, on the same road as the road into old town, the marina is about 15 mins if you use the shortcuts through the streets and there are about 20 bars and restaurants here that serve really good food and drinks, one does a 2 person brunch, that is like an amazing afternoon tea with omlettes crepes, cakes, sandwiches fruit and fresh orange and coffee for only 20 euros. Andre answers any questions really quick and any issues we had where sorted very quickly (storm one night cut the power, quick phone call and we had it back on in minutes) cannot recommend this villa enough and will be looking to stay here again

Great house, location, facilities

The villa was perfect for seven guys celebrating a 50th birthday. We spent most of our days outside by the pool sunbathing, and the table tennis makes a welcome retreat when the sun is at it's hottest so we were playing tournaments! The old town is around a 20 minute walk and we made this every night. With a supermarket and café 10 minutes walk away, we could get breakfast and stock up at the same time. Fabulous views from the villa as well, and Andre was brilliant, organised transfers to and from the airport for us, he couldn't do enough to help! I recommend a stay in this fabulous villa!

We stayed a week in Villa Ramos in August 2017 and enjoyed practically every minute. The whole house was well presented when we arrived, clean with a small welcome pack in the kitchen. The facilities were very good, but an early problem with one of the toilets caused us to contact Mr Martin, who responded very quickly to a text message, he popped in and fixed the toilet within hours. The pool area in particular was very good with loads of loungers and inflatable toys available and with the lower ground floor shaded area provided plenty of space to eat in the cool shade. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable with plenty of fans to help us get a good nights sleep, we didn't really miss not having air conditioning. Kitchen facilities were good, the lounge was comfortable, but we didn't spend much time in the house. We feel that an information pack would help to get to know the house more quickly and the lack of a direct connection between the house and pool did worry us a little because the doors to the house are on the opposite side to the pool area. So you feel a little disconnected from the house. On the plus side though the bbq and pizza oven are great for dining outside. It's a healthy walk to the nearest supermercado maybe 10 mins and old town Albufeira another 5 to 10 mins away all of which are easily doable even in the heat of the day.
