Gorgeous Historic Victorian - Walk to Downtown Truckee! Central to ski resorts!
Dieses Haus mit sieben Schlafzimmern und sechseinhalb Badezimmern wurde in den 1880er Jahren erbaut und ist gut gepflegt und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es wurde Ende der 90er Jahre für 1.000.000 USD umgebaut. Die perfekte Mischung aus Dekor aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und modernen Möbeln macht diesen Raum zu einem einzigartigen Ort für Feierlichkeiten. Unser zweistöckiges viktorianisches Haus bietet Platz für bis zu 15 Personen, ist jedoch innen und außen groß genug, um eine Versammlung von 25 Personen für ein unvergessliches Ereignis zu veranstalten. Bei einer Versammlung von mehr als 15 Personen kann eine zusätzliche Gebühr anfallen.
Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Suiten mit Cal-Kingsize-Betten, eine Suite mit Queensize-Schlafzimmern und ein Verbindungsschlafzimmer für Jack und Jill mit einer Queensize-Bett und zwei Einzelbetten. Unten gibt es eine Queen-Suite mit einem behindertengerechten Badezimmer und eine King-Suite. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Futon in voller Größe im separaten TV / Media-Raum. Stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Fabulous location…..beautiful house and property….has 8 separate rooms for sleeping including 6-7 bathrooms and wonderful new kitchen with thermador appliances…..has everything and more.

This is a gorgeous property. The detail work, hardware finishes, and decor are of the Victorian era and magnificent. It is very well-appointed too. Luxury beds and bedding. The kitchen was a chef's dream and we were all able to work in there together to prepare dinners together.
From the start, our communication with the property manager Jeannine was 5-stars. She followed up with every detail to make sure we were comfortable and offered us insider tips on how to best enjoy the Fourth of July weekend that we were there for. We were four nights and enjoyed having en suite bathrooms for every couple and the spacious dining and living areas were nice to share space. We did not use the parlor/game room or the gazebo outside too much. We were on the go during the days. It was sweet to sit on the beautiful front porch in the rocking chairs and chat over coffee in the mornings or the afternoons, with an adult beverage, and watch the town go by just below us. All in all a very special experience. Our family group of about 12 of us has rented multiple times every year or so to get together. Mostly in Rocky Mountain resort towns, but we loved the small town-friendly vibe of Truckee, and the beautiful home that we stayed in this time surpassed the other properties we have enjoyed in Colorado.

We loved our stay in truckee. Each bedroom was tastefully decorated, with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked for any cooking or baking needs! We made a carrot cake and cupcakes for my daughters wedding. The location is ideal for a quick walk down the street to downtown truckee. Thank you Jeannine for a wonderful, memorable stay.

This Victorian has been completely remodeled and updated with all of the charm preserved for a step back in time. There is ample room for everyone to gather together, including a large dining room table for truly special meals with family and friends. The bedrooms are comfortable and unique in their own way and allow privacy when wanted. The proximity to Truckee is an added bonus. We unreservedly recommend this beautiful home.

Such a unique experience! The house is so well decorated and equipped. We are a large group of 4 families and everyone enjoyed spending 4 days in the house. The host is super friendly and ready to help any time we need it. Thanks again for sharing this amazing property.

We had a fantastic time. The kitchen is amazing to cook in, the bedrooms are all very comfortable. Fantastic place for groups of several couples because everyone gets a nice big bed!

Second time/second year in a row that we stayed at this property for President's Day weekend. The Richardson House is amazing in. Property was very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped and seems to have brand new state of the art appliances (I do not remember if they were the same last year, but I have they impression they are brand new). Great for large groups of families, plenty of space for everyone. Very close to Truckee center (accessible by foot). Would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely loved our stay in the Richardson house. The place was spacious and had everything we needed — kitchen was very modern and had all well equipped, hot tub was great, rooms were clean, etc. The check in process was seamless , and Jeannine was responsive and helpful for anything we needed. 10/10 recommend and would come back.

Walk thru history with modern amenities!
My friends and I had a great weekend staying in this awesome mountain Victorian! Pictures do not do justice to how cool this house is! Spacious, and perfectly decorated, with 9ft doors and 14ft ceilings! Our group of 8 had a very comfortable stay. Jeannine, the host, was communicative and checked in just the right amount. She knows the Truckee area very well, and even set us up with a private masseuse! Location is perfect, walking distance to the Truckee historical down town. We will be coming back! Thx!

Beautiful Home - Best Location in Truckee
Wow, do yourself a favor and book this home. An IMMACULATE historic home built in 1887, a block away from downtown Truckee. You are a 1 minute walk to the best coffee shop and restaurants the town has to offer. The home itself was even more impressive in person than on the listing. The home is in near-perfect condition with numerous original accents from the 1800's. The wood paneling in the entry way / up the staircase is all original and of incredible craftsmanship. There is a massive dining table that allows large groups to congregate for meals. An amazing outdoor space includes a fantastic 4-person hot tub and a covered gazebo. The front porch has 4 rocking chairs and overlooks downtown. The home has a very warm energy and we all felt comfortable and welcome.
Jeannine was incredibly helpful with the check-in process and any other questions we had. Her husband, Bob, stopped by at check-in and was extremely friendly and warm.
We had a large group of 13-14 people and this is the only home I found that doesn't break than bank yet comfortably supports such a large group.
This is probably the most positive home rental experience I have ever had.

The kitchen is perhaps the best stocked (in terms of cookware, appliances, etc.) of any I've seen on VRBO. Every bedroom has a bathroom. There's a nice outdoor hot tub. Good WiFi.
The location is 20 minutes from world class skiing. And, 1 block from downtown Truckee, for non-skiers and apres ski.
Jeannine was an ideal host. Professional, punctual, communicative.
If you have a big group, who like to cook, but also ski and explore a cute small town downtown, this is an ideal spot.

Epic Family Christmas Holiday!
The ambiance and charm of The Richardson House cemented our family Christmas holiday! Family members young and old reveled in the festivities. Seven bedrooms and private bathrooms added to everyone's comfort. Large kitchen and large well stocked kitchen encouraged large dinner gatherings. Games galore for the children and adults too. The children played in the snow and sledded right in front of the house while we watched from the rockers on the front porch. Our hosts were super super hosts! We sadly returned to reality at the end of the week knowing we would be back for another epic week soon!

This beautiful old but remodeled Victorian was exceptionally clean, well equipped and our host Jeannine, was most accommodating and responsive. We were caught in a widespread power out and she was there to ensure we had what we needed to carry on. The Victorian is in the perfect location, walking distance to town and close to hiking trails as well. We intend to go back. This group highly recommends this accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay, we took the train up and back and enjoyed the walkability of the house and night life. The home is amazing and so historic! The decor and upgrades fit the home perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this property for any large family or friends stay. It was Smokey, but luckily the house is beautiful on the inside! Walking distance to amazing coffee shops and bars.
