For this price, I don’t think it can be found any better place! Owner and his mother are so nice. He is always available and ready to help! Room was comfortable with small kitchen, hair drayer, towels, soap, shower gel. Located about 20 minutes from to the city center on the foot, but it was not problem for us. Keep up with good work!

I liked the fact that the room was individual as promised and there were two single beds inside. The sheets and everything in the room seem to be clean and that was definitely a plus. Also, the stuff was super friendly especially the owner of the hotel and his mother. I am extremely happy to be welcomed and hosted by them!

I didn't like the distance between the center and the place. It was impossible to use the public transport after a certain time frame and that costed me as I needed to use taxi instead of public transport. Same went for going back and to the airport.

The recepcionist was great. Always helpping us with everything! The relation price/quality is very good.

- the Manager with flexibility - good rooms with a/c, small kitchen and hot water for showering - many plants in front of the hotel looks nice - good location, everything what u need (pharmacy, minimarket, good restaurants, Covid Test station) is close to walk - Motorbike and car to rent there local was good and very useful I had a wonderful time at Philoxenia and will come back soon :-)

The property was in a nice quiet residential area, so I got a good nights sleep. The room was a good size, clean and with many facilities. It had a small kichen with pots, pans and crockery. Aircon was included along with TV etc..

The hotel is not far from the center of the town, and is in quiet neighbourhood. Lots of free parking spots opposite the hotel. There are several shops and bars in the vicinity. Walking to the old town takes 25 to 30 minutes. The hotel itself is modern with tastefully yet simply designed rooms which offer you good athmosphere and relaxation. The staff is very attentive and polite. We were given maps and recomendations for bars, restaurants, shops and tips for free parking in the town. Thank you very much! We enjoyed our stay in Philoxenia Hotel.

From the first contact with the property manager Antonis, throughout our stay of two weeks,we felt like we are a part of this cute and quite city oasis. The property is perfectly located for the visitors,whose main intention is not only to hang out on one place, but want to explore every corner of this magical island. The old town of Rhodos is in just 20 minutes of relaxed roaming through the nice new town streets away. On the other side, the proximity of the main road, that connects Rhodos city to other parts of the island,makes this property ideal for any kind of adventure. At the arrival in the property, we were immediately overwelled with typical Greek hospitality and unbelievable kindness. We got so many useful information and tips about the island, that raised our desire for exploration for the upcoming days. Throughout our stay and many very pleasant chats with Antonis, we learned a lot about the history and culture of the place and people, amazing experience!!! Our room was located at the first floor, street side. Since the property is located on the hill, we could also be greeted by the beautiful Mediterranean see every morning. The room it self was absolutely comfortable for the two of us. The bed is very comfortable. The room was always kept clean and the towels were changed very often. Small but practical kitchenette has everything that one needs for such vacation. Since we are no fans of regular hotels, Philoxenia property offered us all that we expected. Antonis even organized us an rent-a-car, despite current car unavailability due to Corona! In front of the property is a lot of parking possibilities. So no worries about hanging out for a parking lot in later hours. All in all, the property and the Rhodos island exceeded our expectations and after all, we can say, that we had our best holiday ever! Special thanks to Antonis for unbelievable hospitality and kindness, that is only to find in our lovely Greece! Efharisto and see you again dear Antonis!

The location is great, easily accessible with lots of free parking, in a quiet area near to the city centre. The room was comfortable with a spacious double bed. Also, the room was cleaned every day! Everything was great. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival and during our whole stay we experienced the great hospitality of the people running the hotel. We received really useful tips where to find the authentic Rhodes and escape the usual mass tourism traps. Would definitely stay at Philoxenia hotel again. The location is great if you rent a car and explore the whole island - it is close to the main road and you can avoid the city center traffic plus you get free parking spot which is almost impossible to find in the very heart of the city. The walk to the center is pleasant, but long and tiring in the heat, so keep that in mind if you don’t have a vehicle. The double room has anything you will need and clean bathroom with proper shower. If you take a taxi, keep in mind that there seems to be another hotel with the same name which is situated far more outside the center - make sure the driver takes you to the proper one.

Helpful staff

Location is not great - 20 minutes walk to the walls of the old town so longer to get where you want to be and more time coming back as it's up hill. I was in 104, there is some sort of issue with the drain in the bathroom which makes the bathroom smell of stagnant water/damp. If the door was left open (which it was every time the maid called) then this made the room unpleasant to be in.

Nicely set studio apartment, cleaned on daily basis ... Location is good and quite, walking distance to the old town and pretty close to main road towards Lindos. Super nice host.
