We arrived a day late due to a flight cancellation and we’re welcomed by the owner with a tour of the unit and grounds. The owners offered some very helpful suggestions and the unit was stocked with basic coffee water and milk. The pool was incredibly refreshing after our travels with amazing view of the sea. We did a lot of sightseeing around Nice and Monaco and the Eze unit was a welcoming, quiet oasis each afternoon. The unit has everything we needed and the laundry was convenient since we had been traveling France prior. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a great holiday. Very relaxing and a great property that was close to the station if you wanted to go further a field yet secluded and not overlooked. I would suggest you hire a car as we did as the apartment is up some hills as you’d expect for Eze so it was much easier to travel to nearby Beaulieu or Cap Ferrari and Monaco by car! Our host was very welcoming and the apartment itself was well appointed with fantastic views and a great pool. I would recommend the apartment highly and we would happily stay there again. Thank you Nicola and Egil.

We spent 8 days in gorgeous Eze. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment and the fantastic terrace and pool are wonderful bonuses. Great location and bus/train very close and easy to use. Very friendly and helpful hosts too!

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment that had real nice views over the beautiful bay of Eze. The pool have an even greater view and a pleasant environment. Everything was perfect.

Lovely holiday apartment with fantastic views. Well-equipped and looked after. A short walk to the beach and train station. The hosts are generous and welcoming (provided a pick-up from the train station and took us grocery shopping on arrival). Excellent location for everything along the coast, with good transport options.

Amazing Break!
We had the most wonderful holiday at this great apartment . It truly is in a breathtaking position with permanent views of the Eze bay and the mountains. We spent many a morning and evening on the large terrace taking in the breathtaking scenery. There are some very nice restaurants all within walking distance and it is only a short trip by bus or train to numerous other towns along the coast , or to Eze village right at the top of the mountain which has some stunning views of the surrounding area. We did not have a car but found our way around very easily and was very grateful to Nicola who took us to the local supermarket on our first day for supplies and who was always there for anything needed.
We really enjoyed our break here and did not want to leave. I’m sure we will be back soon!

We stayed in this apartment for a week with 8 month old baby and it was really great! Apartment was equipped with absolutely everything we needed, clean and stylish with good location next to Nice and Monaco. Owners are very nice and helpful :)

We loved this apartment, the location is stunning with great views over the med. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and is very clean. It was nice to have well stocked cupboards with all the basics and Nicola was kind enough to to supply us with extras as we arrived after the shops had closed. We found Nicola to be delightful, so helpful but not intrusive, and we loved her dog!
The location is really good, close to the station if using the frequent train service, there is lots to see along this part of the coast.
We will definitely return before too long!

The starter pack to get us going, assistance with the first shopping, pickup from the railway station and drop off at the airport - everything that we can wish for. Nicola was always there to answer our questions without being in any way intrusive. It is a difficult task to perform as they live upstairs. There is independent access to the apartment and the apartment is very private in spite of the owners' proximity.
The top three things I will recommend as "must do" are:
(1) Visit the exotic garden in Eze Village
(2) Spend at least half a day (if not more) at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild to explore the villa and garden
(3) Explore the Old Town (Vieille Ville) of Nice and indulge in Niçoise food and wine.
Will we go back to stay in Nicola and Egill's apartment? Hell, yeah! Anyday of the year!

The location between Nice and Monaco was fantastic! Easy access to so many parts of the Riviera. The views from the apartment terrace were just spectacular. The owners lived upstairs and we're very helpful whenever we needed it with information and advice. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent one glorious week at Nicola's apartment in May. The location is perfect for exploring the entire Cote D'Azure by car or train. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, modern and the patio overlooking the sea is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning turquoise waters. This is the most wonderful spot to sit and drink coffee while the water sparkles below. Nicola is so welcoming and accommodating (even giving us all of her coins to use for parking meters and tolls). The owners live upstairs but except for a visit from their precious poodle Chloe, we never saw them. The entrance is totally private. The kitchen is fully equipped and Nicola graciously provided coffee, a loaf of fresh bread, milk, wine and more. The town of Eze Bord Sur Mer is quiet but only a couple of kilometers from busier towns with restaurants and the grocery store. We explored Monaco, Nice, Villefranche, Antibes, Cap Ferrat and stunning hill towns including Vieux Eze .Very easy to get to but driving is a bit harrowing! Just a warm and charming apartment, we hope to be lucky enough to return one day and would absolutely stay in Nicola's apartment.

Wonderul apartment and location, welcoming hosts,
We had a lovely five nights here in Eze! The apartment sits half way up the hill of Eze sur Mer, with a considerable number of steps between it and the beach. However, it was worth the walk. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed, and quiet. The bed comfortable. It was still quite warm when we visited, but the fan was sufficient cooling. It was lovely lounging out on the deck chairs on the patio in the evening - there was even a BBQ available.
The kitchen was also well equipped, including some basic supplies which means if you are in the mood to cook, you don't need to buy from absolute scratch.
The hosts were warm and charming (as was their bouncy poodle Cleo), welcoming us with a lovely glass of wine on the balcony.
Eze sur Mer is a quiet town - especially in the off season with only a couple of options for eating open. However, there is both rail and bus connections to Nice and Monaco along the beach road, and the next little town with more meal options and a supermarket is really only 20 minutes walk away (or a bus ride). There is a bus to Eze village and really plenty to do. Car parking on the street was not a problem.

Excellent base for exploring the Cote D'Azur
We had a wonderful week at the Garden Apartment and found it to be an excellent base for exploring the nearby towns along the Cote D'Azur.
Nicola welcomed us, showed us around the apartment, assured us that she was available at any time should we need her, and then left us alone for the rest of the week. We didn't see here again until we checked out, but knew that she was available. Unobtrusive but available - excellent!
The apartment itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed cooking our own meals each evening. We also appreciated the nightly garbage truck collections about 9.00pm, as we didn't have to keep any trash inside the apartment.
The patio was a nice place to relax with a wine and enjoy the ocean views and watch the movements of the super yachts.
We were able to park the car directly outside the house and most days we drove to a nearby town to visit and have lunch - Eze Village, Monte Carlo, Nice and Cannes. It was really nice to be able to visit these places and then return to the comfort of the apartment.
I can highly recommend Nicola and this apartment for anyone wishing to visit the area.

Lovely spacious apartment in Eze
Lovely spacious apartment in Eze with fantastic view of the bay. Welcoming people who will assist you who know the area well and will point you where you will see the best of the area. Beach in walking distance if you don't mind stairs - definitely a hill climb on the way back (you cannot drive down to the beach). Restaurants nearby and lots to see in neighbouring villages.

The perfect place to stay!!
I have only WONDERFUL things to say about my stay here. The owners were so incredibly kind, and they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant, from beginning to end. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had everything I needed (and more!). I loved sitting in the kitchen each morning, and looking at the sparkling sea while enjoying my coffee and biscuit. Eze is beautiful, and the villa is just a short walk up from the train station (about 7-10 min). I enjoyed the walk each day, passing by beautiful villas and breathtaking views. The train to Monaco is just 2 stops away, and there are also lovely cafes and places to explore around Eze and Beaulieu. As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe here. I am already planning my next visit, and will stay here again for sure. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you!

Great Apartment
We spent four days in the apartment and it was a pleasure, the apartment is perfectly equipped starting with an organized kitchen and ending with a set of binoculars.
The hosts were very nice and helpful and gave us a great feeling.

total relaxation
After along flight from Perth we arrived at this villa that was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, had the most amazing views that we pinched ourselves everyday we were there. Public transport so handy to get around to Italy or nice. A nice walk along the coast to next town. Also keeps you nice and fit walking up hill to villa. Beach has pebbles but villa has umbrellas and mats for comfort or you can hire loungebeds on beach. Great walk up hill to eze medieval village with a lunch on the chaeau restaurant balcony with great views a definite must. Also good cafes on beach. No shops only next town which is a 10min bus ride very easy. thankyou for a great holiday Nicola.

Perfect place with a stunning view
When I close my eyes and think about where I'd like to be, I picture the both of us in Eze on this terrace overlooking the sea, sipping coffee under the morning bright light, soon we will go down the stairs to enjoy the beach while it is still quiet. We ll swim to the poontoon to embrace the scenery of this beautiful bay, watch the yachts anchoring, set our mind on either renting a stand up paddle or a kayak. Then there are other major décisions to make, shall we buy shrimps or swordfish at the Beaulieu super U for lunch ? Fry them in a pan or BBQ them? And what about going to Monaco by train afterwards or visiting Villa Kerylos now that we have seen Villa Ephrussi or maybe we will just laze around listening to the cicadas...this place is my idea of heaven, this is my second time here and to be honest did not want to advertize it but that would not be fair to the owners who are delightful people, helpful and yet never intrusive

Absolutely Perfect
My husband and I stayed in the apartment for four nights after a week in Paris. It was the absolute perfect choice! We had debated staying in Nice and in Villafrenche, but were so pleased with our choice once we arrived. The neighborhood was very quiet and was a welcome reprieve from the city. The owners were so kind and had food for dinner waiting for us (including a bottle of wine!) in the apartment as we arrived late in the evening on the day of our arrival. The view was beautiful, the beach was very close within walking distance, we had no issues with parking our car, and the apartment was well stocked with basic food prep items and toiletries. Monaco and Nice were very close and we visited both several times during our stay. The beach was pebbly but comfortable and there were not that many people on the beach at any point when we were there. We didn't use the local bus or train, but it appeared to be an easy system. No complaints - absolutely wonderful stay. Thank you!

A relaxing location with spectacular views......
After the long journey by train from England we were ready to stop and what we found was the perfect place at which to do just that. Met by one of the owners at the station everything was just as we had hoped it would be right from the start - the villa apartment was spotless through out and there were even a few essentials waiting in the fridge. Nicola and Egill were excellent hosts; there if you needed anything but not intrusive. What followed over the next 10 days was wonderful weather, wonderful views and the perfect way in which to unwind and recharge the batteries. The villa apartment is situated (by train) 10 mins from Nice, 10 mins from Monaco, 50 mins from Cannes and about 30 mins from the Italian border so if you are looking for a place to stay that offers the chance to get out and explore then we highly recommend this one.
If we were asked what could be done to improve on what we found then our only comment would be that the bed was slightly to soft but we have to admit that that is a highly subjective opinion.
To conclude; a fantastic villa apartment, a fantastic location and a fantastic holiday. We didn't want to come home - we hope to be back soon........
