Location near two beaches. Friendly owner. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The bed had spring matress so every movement was heard.

We visit Astros frequently. This was our best experience there. It's a good spot, close to the seafront but just far enough away to be free from any mayhem during busy times. The room had a good view of the castle, and they had kindly put the a/c on heat for us as it was chilly. The equipment in the room was as described and in full working order. No longer do we have to lug the kettle, toaster, or hairdryer across the country with us! Despite it being winter, hot water was readily available and it was a pleasure to use a unit that actually drains so that you are not splishsploshing about whilst having your shower. All doors and windows locked securely. Electrical sockets were in logical, useable positions. There was ample space to put our clothes and belongings out of the way. OH was able to watch his football on TV whilst I watched something else on my tablet. The bed was a good size and firm. The balcony was also a good size and we enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee out there. We were also very happy to be able to park our car off the road. The host/staff were excellent, on hand for queries, very helpful, and proper kosher with invoicing without prompting All in all, we had a great stay, so much so we extended it by a night. The gift of oranges and grapefruit was very welcome, thank you! (vitamin C now topped up!). We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Castle View and look forward to returning soon!

The village is wonderful. Good combination of liveliness and rest. Beautiful nature. Lovely Greek culture and food. The host of Castle View, Vivian, is very friendly and attentive. The castle view from the apartment balcony is super romantic. And in the hotel itself, the authentic bar area is a beauty. Cosy. Welcoming. Creative.
