We loved our stay here! A few things to note is that it’s actually a guest house which didn’t bother us at all, but as the listing doesn’t mention it, it may matter to others. Also, in the summer/crowded season it’s good to know that it backs up to two houses with pools and the neighbors could be very loud at night! I imagine in the off season it’s super quiet and peaceful. It’s a super cute house and our boys loved the bunk room! Location is absolutely perfect - easy walk to beach, Red Bar, great neighborhood for kids to bike around etc. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Great yard for the kids to play. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future!

We enjoyed our time in Grayton beach, the location of the little house was amazing, a block from the beach, restaurants, coffee and shopping! The house is adorable, has a little more wear and tear than pics show and some dust bunnies, but all in all, great! The only thing lacking was a can opener, which we ended up borrowing from vacationers next door. There is very little counter space in bathrooms but tables are provided in the rooms, no TV in bunk room, so just something to keep in mind if your kids love TV like mine do, but shouldn’t, ha! The bed in the master was so very comfy too!!! Alison is very nice!! Great place to consider!

Great place in the middle of Grayton. Clean and just right for our trip-beaching it every day. It is in the backyard of another rental, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Air was ice cold, which helped us sleep well so we could beach it up the next day. Beds were comfortable. No complaints here. Parking wasn’t too bad., since I parked my truck in front of the bigger house on the property. The narrow driveway leading up to it was just a little tight for a full size crew cab. We can see ourselves going back here.

The house is completely updated and is close to the beach. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I love that it’s tucked away yet so close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The kitchen and bathrooms are chic and nicely sized. We enjoyed the option of dining outside or inside. I look forward to staying there again.

This property was perfect for our family. The location was great, backyard was stellar, and the layout of the house was perfect for our vacation. It is not too big, but it did not feel too small either because of the outdoor space. Clean and updated on the inside with no problems. The owner was also very quick to respond. Great experience, we are thankful!

This cottage is just a few short blocks to the beach and restaurants in Grayton. It has everything you need and plenty of space for a small family to spread out. We really enjoyed the house and the location and will definitely rent again.

The space is nice and private and an easy stroll to the beach. The cottage is comfy and the photos are really accurate of the space. My only suggestions would be a toaster and some lamps (indirect lighting upstairs). Very minor compared to everything also that is awesome about Allison’s place! I will definitely come back!

I've been going to Grayton Beach for over 15 years- this place is a hidden gem! It's perfect for a small family. It feels very private and it's a very short walk to the beach. It's well maintained and stocked, the host was very easy to communicate with. The decor is nice and minimal (perfect when you're bringing young kids/babies). We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying in this very comfortable carriage house with a family of 5. It is a short and straight walk to the beach and we rarely had to get in the car and leave Grayton. Only cons to the property are: minimal storage in kitchen or bathrooms, no ceiling fans (but the a/c worked great) and we were eaten up with mosquitoes in the yard. Pros far outweighed the cons. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Clean, nice amenities, convenient to beach and downtown. Backyard was great for kids, fenced in and secluded.

Our family had a wonderful time spending spring break at Grayton Beach. This cottage is in an ideal location - just a short walk to the beach or short bike ride to shops and restaurants. It's small but perfect size for a family of 4 with young children. We had a few issues with the wifi not working, the door (doesnt' lock/unlock very easily) and outdoor shower being full of leaves/debris/beach toys but the property manager was able to fix the internet fairly quickly and provide advice on managing the door. We would definitely recommend.

This cute cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The house was bright and updated and the rooms were minimal and clean. We quickly felt right at home. The yard was shady and spacious for our 2 and 4 year old to play after the beach in the afternoons. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Allison's house was a perfect, relaxing beach home! The house is simply furnished with comforts needed to make our vacation easy and cozy. We loved the minimal style of the decor and furnishings which allowed us more time to enjoy each other and the beach! The house is just a short, peaceful walk from the beach access at Grayton Beach. Between the beach and the lake we always had a spot to enjoy the water! We were able to rent chairs the day we arrived with the beach attendant for less than the places I found online before arriving. The Red Bar is a great place for lunch or dinner. Black Bear Bakery was a great breakfast spot not far away! We can't wait to return!

We stayed here to celebrate our daughter’s 13th birthday. The cottage is very cute and comfortable, perfect for our needs. The location is awesome! Two blocks from the beach and a great, quiet backyard. We loved the feel of Grayton Beach! Very laid back and much less commercial than Seaside/Watercolor, but just a short ride away from both of those too. We’d definitely come back!

The cottage was as lovely and cozy as pictured.. and Allison is a genuine good woman and property owner! The location is in a rare community that is preserved well for living and loving with care for each other and the environment. We also enjoyed meeting the owner of Chiringo.. a favorite beach side restaurant to enjoy and Travis is the real deal in his efforts to provide a “Grayt” place to eat and enjoy good company with the beach side views.

Had a wonderful stay. Property clean and just down the street from a terrific beach. The location was quiet and setback from the street nestled among lovely oak trees. Highly recommend.

Great house! Great Location! Perfect for hanging out with a couple of friends.

This property sits on a large lot behind a rather large main home. It’s amazingly quiet with ample parking, very difficult to find in Grayton Beach. If you don’t know the area, GB is perfectly situated between the bustle and crowds of Santa Rosa beach and seaside, and is a safe quick bike ride to either. Amenities provided are sparing, but there is plenty of safe place to store rented bikes, kayaks, etc. and super easy to go the 1 block to the lake to put in the water. You could quickly paddle the lake up to the gulf if desired, we found that nicer than pulling kayak up to the gulf directly. Owner was very responsive to my questions and answered them all promptly. We were 4 adults and enjoyed the space, I stayed in a bunk and it was very comfortable, wider then I expected. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Allison greated is upon arrival and ensured that all of our needs were met. The hospitality was a nice plus from other stays we’ve had elsewhere. The House was nestled in the heart of Grayton Beach, 700 yards from Red Bar and only a few extra feet from the beach. We traveled to Watercolor frequently and the bike ride is a modest 2.7 Miles. The unit has recently been remodeled & it shows! The kitchen & dining room is perfect for a family of 5 to cook while keeping an eye on the kids. The bed rooms are appropriately outfitted w/ a queen in the master and two bunk beds in the additional room (which the kids thourghly loved). Each bed room has its private bath making it convienent for Quick baths after the beach allowing for more time to enjoy the sunset. Great place for us. Hope it is for you, too.
